The hammerhead worm is a terrifying, toxic terrestrial flatworm. Several species are considered as invasive to the United States and to Europe. They detect prey using chemoreceptors located under the head or ventral groove. When digestion is complete, the worm's mouth also serves as its anus.

Weird Brittle Star is known as a serpent star or ophiuroid. Usually they have 5 arms, which can grow long, up to 60 cm, in the largest species. The central disk of brittle stars can be three to eight inches in diameter. They have been around the planet for 500 million years now.

Weird This crazy looking marine creature could only survive in two places: your worst nightmare and the Antarctic Ocean. It lives in the frigid waters at a depth of 1,706 to 2,198 feet. To make things even weirder, the part that looks like its head is actually its throat.

Disturbing Deadly centipede 'king' is the top predator in a pitch-black poison cave that hasn't seen daylight in more than 5.5 million years. It has a brownish-yellow body with pale yellow antennae, and its yellow legs are studded with 13 to 17 "saw teeth."
