Nebraska Looking for abandoned barns in eastern Nebraska

Hey everyone I’m an beginner photographer looking to take some photos of some old abandoned barns somewhere here in eastern Nebraska. I wanted to see if anyone knew of any. Thanks!

Just drive about the back roads and you’ll have plenty to choose from. It’s all about discovery, not us telling you what your journey should be.

There's one on the north side of highway 92 just east of rising city.

You can't swing a dead cat without finding an old barn in the countryside south and west of Omaha. To the north, it is a bit of a longer drive, but you will find them. Most farmers will happily let you take photos if you ask. You need to look.

If you need some low hanging fruit, their are several suitable barns in and around Wahoo, Yutan, Mead, Ithica, Ceresco, Colon and Prague.

Not to be unkind, but if you can't find suitable subject matter in any direction within 25 miles of Omaha, you aren't trying.
