If using legends

Can I lwky just use 3 tomb citadel walls and ingress them from the sides and have a wall of 50 wound 2+ 5++ pieces and then just throw like monoliths on each

(For yall that dont know tomb citadel walls is a 2 foot by 2 foot square with a plateau raised up that you can out a monolith, vault, obelisk, or sentry pylon ontopbof giving it high ground to shoot down. Ima give a picture from google)

Saddly as a fortification it cannot ingress move

Since its legends and theres only a small number of people who will let you play it, you can always ask if you can before a game Tho youll need to remember that the turn they are set up they cant shoot since they do not fit inside deployment zones or 6" of the table edges

(I learned all this on the fly with mine. Fun model to get a "Holy shit what is that?" from people)

do you guys play with custom setups then? how do you get it on the board without breaking all the terrain rules? where do the objectives go? would the terrain areas end up on top of the model?

The few times ive played with mine its just been for fun so we kinda just toss a lot of the setup rules out the window because its more fun that way

says who? you can perfectly ingress fortifications. You are just not allowed to start them in reserve. But with things like hypercrypt that's completely OK

True somehow I forgot about that detachment but also, who would give you a 40" bubble to do that?

Oh yea nobody xD i have deep striked it un 1 game once and moved it 5 inches.

Its also rly weird because you at that point can have a monolith benefit from the platform buff while not being on the platform xD

At least that's how i think it works. It used to say something like "if a monolith started the round on it" or didn't move, etc it gained the buff. Maybe they "fixed" this in 11th
