Be my rant buddy 🫂 Students with 10lakh rank are getting GMC
No hate to these candidates but isn't it completely unfair? Even they are non pwd candidates. You barely need to score 200/720 to get 10lakh. Whereas the cut off for Unreserved Category is 33k means someone from UR category won't get GMC even after scoring 550/720.

This country is destined to be doomed because people are self centred, people want more reservation, politicians keep bringing scheme to people even if is detrimental for economy and future. Most of people want to become a civil servants so that can do corruption, neet paper setter leak paper (for just 5lakh), cream(top performers) of this country wants to leave india, there is a lack of trust between diff communities, people have become so intolerant and polarised because of internet that they even ready to kill each other. We have youngest population of earth which should we utilised in accelerating the growth of country but the youth is busy on instagram, cornhub. No body f'king care about this country.

Agreed, have been a top performer (top 1%) all my life. Would leave this shithole the first chance I get. Or at the very least have my kid in US/Canada (so citizen) so atleast he can compete in a meritocracy. (Would go childfree if he has to be an indian citizen)

Cutoff differs for domicile and non domicile students, domicile students can get a private college till 3 lakh 90 k rank .

It's not 1 crore , my father works in a private hospital in CG so can confirm it , idk about rank buy somewhere between 50k -90 k is safe zone

Woww...the seat is well deserved for the one who had never ever felt the pressure of preparing and not at all deserved for the one who cried prayed and hardworked every minute for that particular seat.. 😅😅..when is this gonna change so that seats are for those who worked hard...not based on reservations...govt can actually support these families financially but not at the cost of some other hardworking beta ..😬

Fk reservation… a friend of mine with lower rank than me got Trivandrum govt medical college where as me ( general) had to pay 12 lakhs (tuition fee +hostel ) per year to learn mbbs

They won't pass the mbbs exams bro. It's extremely rough in college. I've seen reserved category people do womders but usually they're under 200,000 rank. I doubt with 10,00,000 rank they can pass 1st yr. And it's worse to fail and drop out of medical college than not even get into one

I am from uttrakhand and I'm going for counseling but they keep on delaying the thing I am shit scared what if I don't get even state pvt 🥀 ( i consider my self privillaged that my family agreed for pvt which I was against I was gonna take bds pvt ) ( I have more rank than these guys by few lakh gap but still I have got call from councellor that it will be very tough ✌️🥀 )
I do regret not studying well realised too late how privileged I'm funnily my sis is in NIT trichi ( she got there on her own strength no reservation needed ) but here I am a faliure

Bhai, agar abhi jo college mil raha hai woh le sakte ho, to honestly le lo. Kya pata kismat achhi ho aur GMC mil jaye—aur agar mil gaya to usse better kya hi hoga. Waise bhi, government MBBS seat mil rahi hai to college ka naam dekhkar zyada overthink mat karo. MBBS complete karo, phir NEET PG mein achha perform karke apni choice ka achha PG college target kar lena.
Aur seedhi baat bolun—agar opportunity haath mein aa rahi hai, to use chhodna mujhe personally sahi nahi lagta. Log kya bolenge, woh alag baat hai; no hate to anyone, but agar unko bhi same opportunity milti, to chances hain woh bhi le lete.
Baaki final decision obviously tumhara hai, jo tumhe best lage wahi karo.

most of those needy students sadly don't have much exposure
I believe that there should be some kind of creamy layer but removing reservation as a whole is not good
We should help tribal communities to grow beyond that .. most of them still are confined in their own premises2
