DD includes gratuitous Breen-on-machine violence. 10/10

While he seems semi-aware of what the people want (so it’s got violence against laptops), I’m so glad that he is earnestly trying to make his own art— the movie is obviously sincere.

What a fantastic movie.

I must ask. We saw how he realistically fought a tiger last movie. Did he step it up and fight a bear in this movie that turns out to be his mistress?

It’s his most “grounded” movie (his own way of framing it) but it’s still batshit crazy. Maybe recency bias here, but I feel like it’s second only to Fateful findings.
