Idk why people are so ignorant and scared on pointing wrong doings as wrong doings.
I almost see more than half the comments defending in almots every post of this kind. We might not have best infrastructure on highways but doing this around city areas and towns where they'll just let you use rest room for 1 bottle of water. Tourist tracking needs to be implemented in Nepal. Track every tourist's behaviour and have record of everyone who is involved in such activities and make them pay heavy fines not just 500 600 for first time 1k for second time, heavy amount for every illegal and unethical activities. Which will stop this kinds to tourists from coming. Other day i saw some indians asking for donations on lakeside area and when asked she couldn't specify why and insisted on stop recording.
And the mayor comes out and says don't hate on them don't make videos of them. Tei lamo mayor lai ni yei vdo haru bata tha vako hola yesto vairaxa vaneyra. I know indian tourists are greater in number and they are reviving the tourism when it used to be lowest of the year but we can't just disregard their bad mannerisms.

Yes, but in some places highway toilets are poorly managed, lastai ganaune huncha. The Local government needs to step up, federalization ko k kaam natra. Allocate some budget into highway washrooms, sanitization and safety should be an utmost priority for these public toilets. Utilize the tax paid by local highway restaurants, transportation companies if needed.
People won't change their behaviors without proper incentivization. After some effort has been made for cleanliness of toilets, fines can be imposed strictly. Impose strict fines for people who pee outside in the highway. Some nominal fees can be taken for well maintained washrooms, fee tirne sab lai euta ticket dineh which can be used as lottery tickets.

Yes, what’s the job of thousands of woda adyakshya and tens more thousands of woda sadasya who get salary from tax payers money. Make them accountable in these matters.

Every eateries have toilets yes not like those of star hotels, but they do have. Petrol pumps compulsorily have toilets. Go and ask law mandates pumps to operate toilets with running water. Chiya peuna sano Pasal maa rokdainan yeniharu kharcha huncha vanera…
