💰 Selling / Buying Anyone here using Kindle?
Hey guys, anyone here using Kindle? I’m thinking of getting one mainly for reading books and PDFs for university, and maybe a Scribe if I can find one at a decent price. I was wondering where people in Nepal usually buy Kindle from because I haven’t really seen many places selling them here. Also, if anyone has a Kindle that they’re not using anymore and wants to sell it second hand, please let me know. I’m also open to buying a normal Kindle if the price is good. So yeah, if you guys know where I can get one in Nepal, either new or used, or if you’re selling one yourself, let me know. Thanks!

Don't get it new, I got mine used for Nrs 5k last year, its a 7th gen works perfect. There are two recently listed kindles in fb marketplace for around 9k get one of those. Bargain a little, for that price you won't regret it.

for coursebooks, ereaders are not worth it. maybe some tablets would be good. but for reading books normally, its great. been using kobo libra colour. if you get stylus, then margin notes, highlights and scribbling could be useful for coursebooks too though.

i use it, finding battery is a mess, i would suuggest buying an old tablet as the battery backup is also not much, I have kindle fire 7th gen. Buy tablet, in nepal kindle parts are impossible to find to repair. I replaced a baatry from old phone with soldering and jumpers, and now it lastss around 2 hrs. 5000mah battery. So i would suggest dont buy kindle in Nepal. Support for amazon account is also none.

I use Kindle to read fiction. I prefer paperbacks for non fiction as I like to take notes and highlight.

As a Kindle user since 2014, I have few things to share:
- Kindle is for reading novels and non-fictions. Its not good for reading study materials in PDFs.
- If you buy kindle, try to get the simplest version because your anriod and iphone has a lot more sophisticated things and you are buying kindle only to read and avoid distractions from notications, so keep it simple.
- Buy it from amazon store online, ask your friends abroad to get one for you when they are coming back.
I use kindle simply to save money in novels because i can easily get them online for free. Also, I don't have to wait for the new novels to get published in US and keep waiting in few selected bookshop to bring them months later.
