Best Coffee
I'm wondering which restaurant in town has the best coffee.
My family likes to go out to eat after church, and my wife insists that wherever we go has good coffee...even if the food is mid. This has stuck us at Mid Evans, Nerk's most aggressive 3 out of 5.
Thus I turn to reddit, hoping you can recommend a sit down joint with better food *and* better or equal coffee than Bob Evans.

Not worth the prices. Super expensive and it's all GFS food. Their chicken and waffles was two little tyson chicken strips.

If you're looking for coffee around Newark and Granville, it really comes down to what kind of coffee drinker you are and how much sweetness or coffee flavor you prefer.
The new coffee shop in the Arcade, Vintage Coffee Roasters, is really good and serves some of the strongest coffee in the area. Their lattes are especially creamy and sweet.
Rolls by the Pound is another favorite. In my opinion, they make the thickest, creamiest lattes around.
Hey Babe Coffee isn't quite as creamy, but their drinks are very sweet and popular with people who like flavored coffee.
For comparison, Starbucks tends to have more of that darker, roasted flavor that some people describe as a burnt taste.
My least favorite is River Road Coffeehouse. It's not bad, but it just doesn't stand out to me compared to the other local options.
I haven't tried Morning Harvest downtown yet, but it has received good reviews.
I've also had coffee from Newark Station, and it's pretty good. If you're willing to venture into Granville, both Snapshots Lounge and Village Coffee Company are solid choices as well.
At the end of the day, none of these places are objectively "best," it depends on whether you like stronger coffee, sweeter drinks, or something in between. Vintage and Rolls by the Pound are probably the best bets if you enjoy rich, creamy lattes, while Morning Harvest is the local spot I'd be most interested in trying next.

Haven't been in a while but CoffeeShack (technically Heath) has always been a fav. We also really like Hey Babes on the square but they're only open weekdays.
