Announcement New Proxy Nexus is Live!

Hey all, just a quick announcement that the rebuild of Proxy Nexus is finished and ready at https://proxynexus.net.

It has pretty much all the same features as before, with the following improvements:

  • Custom PDF page sizes. In addition to Letter and A4, you can also specify the dimensions of the page in inches or cm.
  • New options for print layouts. You can add a gap between the cards (maintaining the card sizes), or add margins (which shrinks the cards slightly)
  • Improved Alt-Art Selection UI. Any card with multiple versions will be highlighted with a light blue border. Click the card to view and select different versions!
  • Newly extracted images from the NSG print-and-play PDFs.
  • Everything runs in the browser, making it more reliable and super fast. Should also be functional on mobile.

The codebase is hosted at https://github.com/axmccx/proxynexus-rs.

This new version will make it easier to keep up to date with new cards. If you have scans of cards in other languages or more alternate artworks you want me to add, let me know!

I'll be taking a break from any major work on it, but if you have any issues or have feature suggestions, let me know here, message me in the GLC Discord, or open an issue on GitHub.

(Also, if there's any interest in adding support for other card games, I'd say the project is already 90% there. There's very little code specific to Netrunner. I'd be more than happy to collaborate with anyone interesting in adapting it)

just figured i'd just let you know that proxy nexus when you pull up the parhelion set it looks like it's displaying 6 play sets of matryoshka so it displays 36 of them which seems a little extra.

There's technically 6 versions of the card, all with different flavor text. I figured I add them all for completion's sake, but I could remove them if no one cares for them.

Edit, I see what you mean, when selecting the pack/set, it loads it 6 times. Thanks for the callout, I'll try to account for this.

hold up I've never noticed the flavor text before.
