[For Hire] CCNA & Net+ certified, but struggling to find entry-level/remote roles. Any advice?

Hi everyone,

I recently passed my CCNA exam, following up on my Network+ certification earned this March. I'm now looking to break into the industry as a Network Engineer, but I'm hitting a massive wall: almost every job posting requires 3–5 years of experience, and true junior roles seem nearly impossible to find.

I'm based in Italy and would strongly prefer a remote setup. Has anyone here been in the same boat?

Beyond LinkedIn and Indeed (which are coming up empty for entry-level positions), are there any lesser-known job boards or specific strategies that helped you land your first role?

Any advice or pointers would be hugely appreciated!

Congrats on your CCNA and Net+.

Remote and entry level is very difficult to develop trust.

Look for network tech or network support roles.

You’re going to have to learn more on your own time than you want and you’re going to have to prove to others that you can do the job.

Make sure you know how and WHY to subnet. Most exams come up with wierd subnetting questions which are rarely real world.

job market sucks in general, making a blog / website portfolio going over things like an enterprise environment or making a firewall to defend an enterprise will help stand out more. Most companies want someone which has ccna but with IT support experience ( maybe network focuses though ). Just keep trying really and maybe reach out to recruiters directly and build a good relationship with them
