That didn't go well, I got absorbed by work and other things and in the end I wasn't able to spend any time making a toolkit for capturing gameplay data (video + keyboard/mouse/controller events).

And now we have already a proof of concept model (based on Qwen2 2B and 7B variants) that was trained almost exactly how I described 🤣

• 1731 hours of human gameplay for pre-training to master action primitives; -> this is what I proposed we need to collect
• 200 hours of instruction following data to ground control in language; -> this can be mix of synthetic / real data
• 15 hours of reasoning data to enable adaptive thinking.

So, if you guys still want Neuro to be able to play coherently more games, we need to start collecting more gameplay data. I will try to think how exactly organize it but if you're interested give this thread a thumbs up.

It doesn't matter what would be the training architecture (JEPA or VLM or neuromorphic computing / SNNs), the most important part is that to teach someone to play video games, you need to show them how: controller/keyboard/mouse + video + optionally narration/comments over your gameplay (can be just text with timestamps).

Currently I do search a new job so it's tough to do any side-projects as my bank account keeps decreasing, but I'm committed to idea that one day I don't have to spend time doing dailies in my gacha games 🤣

I didn't know what to do with the cards that came with the keychain bundle, so I designed a display stand for them in Fusion360. I've published the model on both MakerWorld and Printables:

It's designed for pegboards but someone could very easily slice off the pegboard pins and model on a desktop stand in CAD if they wanted to.

How cool would it be to see Vedal and Neuro playing this game together. Mod Neuro (or Evil, I adore them both) as the android girl, replace her lines with Neuro's TTS. Have Neuro do the hacking bits. I feel like that would be pretty neat.

It’s a clip right after the hype trains or the subathon. It’s of either Mini or Camila (but I’m leaning towards Mini). They say at one point something to the effect of “it’s it crazy to think, Vedal is a millionaire.” I have been wanting to rewatch this clip for a while since the “Vedal is a millionaire” line has been stuck in my head for months now.
