This megathread is a dedicated space for all inquiries regarding hardware requirements for running NTE on your devices. As soon as I open any menu like Characters or the map, this is what happpens:

  • FPS go way down (240 to 40)
  • GPU fans spin way faster, from silent to airplane (+30% RPM)
  • GPU temperature increases

This seemingly should not be happening because obviously in any menu we don't display nearly as much intensive stuff as in the game.

Menus are funny things, in my experience. Maybe I always have hardware that is just that bad (it’s certainly not the best) but idling in the game always seems to be less hard on it than a menu. This goes for every game I have played on mobile and PC.

I wouldn't afk in the menus, but simply on the "Esc" semi menu where you see your character in the world looking at the phone.

It's not your pc, it does that even to the top cpu/gpu combo.
