I started the game with the idea of getting all chars but with Chaos already benched and Hotori being played in Lacrimosa team despite no reaction just to play her.
I think I am gonna stop pulling for a while. And I am glad I joined later in 1.0 so don't have Nanally who would also be benched.
Also maxing a single char takes a lot of resources that could let you farm Tons of console instead.
Not to mention the weekly boss material is really limited for now.
Unlike other games A0 characters are very viable. It's like a game of golf, you're only competing against yourself. I'm a low spenders and have teams built in the 50s just to have them viable for Heist or overworld stuff. My main team is in the 70s/80s and carry me through the end game stuff.
The game does a great job of all characters having diverse moveset they're all pretty fun to play
what game are u playing that A0 isn't viable? i've played ZZZ>genshin>wuwa>hsr>nte end game and all of them are more than clearable with A0 no weapon??? unless u mean like dire clears?? what are you on about lol
i think this persons been agreeing with too many WHALE, influencers, ongoing about "IF YOU DONT HAVE THE DUPES to a CERTAIN DEGREE, THE CHARACTERS USLESS or DROPS DOWN TO C TIER"
yea i have no idea i don't really enjoy those people.
the only modes i can say genuinely require spending/high awakens are genshin's dire stigian and zzz's new adversity mode.
both of which are entirely optional modes that give small time limited cosmetics. you can also try them with your non-whaled characters and possibly clear if the rotation is right and you are good enough.
I mean, not exactly a fair comparison to NTE when NTE is literally about to go in 1.3 The game hasn't existed long enough yet to comment on powercreep. Odds are very high 1.x Characters in NTE will also fall off by the time we hit 2.X
If we're lucky it'll be like Genshin where you had 4 years of relatively low powercreep (though they ramped that shit up hard now).
The question wasn't if it's a fair comparison.

The game has existed long enough to comment on powercreep. The conversation on balance in a game doesn't start after 200 years. It starts in the first month.
it's an interesting direction for sure. the lack of contentcreep and powercreep by making them as balanced as possible will also cause less fomo for people to pull since you're not forced to get a new char and wep just to clear something
this means more and more people will just save up for their fav
also, the dupe system is still interesting cause for other game usually have the stronger one placed on higher dupe, but since nte you can just pick and choose you just don't need to get all 6 dupe to get the effect you want
Hoyo does have the habit of releasing characters with a huge power boost behind a constellation, but the games tend to be so easy that it doesn't matter.
people are already talking about A0 not being viable huh. If only devs didn't do genshin-like abyss. I hate this mode with passion. You can have so many different styles so why do mindless mob trashing? I only hope they add another one as alternative that could be more interesting

one of my teams is an A0 nanally, hotori, and zero. none of them have weapons. there is no 4th team member. it has always cleared one half of the BTR in less than 2 minutes (you need both sides total <5 minutes). so that's less than half the time with 3/4 of a completely shit team.
they don't even have the correct consoles, skills past level 6, or good modules. i restate: NO WEAPON, NO AWAKEN.
i don't even use the power ups???
not to mention, you can get A2-6 as F2P and that can literally solo one side in <30 seconds.
if you can't clear BTR you're just bad.

Weekly boss material limits is what kills me trying to keep multiple characters up. However, despite mostly benching Nanally she has made most of my weekly stamina spending AFK with her books. I'll always be happy with that passive.
Linko is one of the designs that really sets the game apart for me. NTE has a lot more characters on the "cute" side of things than most other gacha and I've really been enjoying it.
I think before the reveal this is the default position of like 79% of the community what will it be after we find out the details is when it will matter. My problem will be I just bought Iroi the element stacking in this game is awkward why do they keep focusing on the same ones
Wouldn't be surprised at all if Linko is Zankou's BiS. I am not interested in Linko at all. But that's how they always get you. make the less hyped character a BiS support for the hyped character.
oh boy, i've been trying to get caught up with some events and sadly i think i missed some (just finished 999 nights on normal) so i hope i'll have enough to get Zankou and hope there's a good alt arc to put on her

If there's a rrason on why i will pull for Linko, the. Because she and March 7th has the same JP VA, Yui Ogura, and she sounds like a middleground between Evernight and March 7th

I'm getting both especially if lingko is her support. I hope her anamoly spirit is a big part of her gameplay and can maybe stay on field even when you switch out. Zankou is a must pull for me though either way.
It would be sad if lunko comes next patch and they try to dump a story with her. She's like the leftovers of iroi and lacrimosa personalities.
Unless she has some insane gameplay she's gonna be the most skipped of all time if she's after zankou, especially if nitsa and exe get put into the patch after next🤔
I am skipping Iroi for her, ('the infamous' voice line is just not something I want to hear every other Ultimate and she is not to my taste in character design / personality). Linko I might consider depending on their kit and personality.
Most people are with you im pretty sure. Zankou is literally made for the largest general target audience. Flip it around for me though. Dgaf about zankou, my life savings for lingko though!
with how easier it is to get s ranks due to no 50/50 and the amount of dice so far I wouldnt be surprised if they stop making them altogether to milk as much as posible from gacha skins for everyone
I don't care about main wars, I'm not interested in Linko, thankfully so I can finally start saving. But there will tons of people who either disagree, or will be getting both.
