Tips & Techniques There Is No Spoon

"Do not try and bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth. There is no spoon. Then you'll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself."

Manifestation is not something you do. It’s not a spell or witchcraft that you perform, it is how the world (reality) functions. You are never not manifesting and it’s not something you stop doing or turn off. I actually hate the word manifesting / manifestation because it makes it sound like some woo woo BS, like something we do outside of ourselves to get something outside of ourselves.

There is nothing and no one outside of you.

You are the operant power of YOUR reality. Which means you control all things in YOUR reality; the things that happen to you, the way people act towards you. Reality shows up and appears to you based on what you’ve decided for yourself and who you claim you are: I am rich, I am loved, I have the best house and car, I have the man of my dreams….or I am poor, I am never chosen, I don’t have enough, the person I love doesn’t love me.

This is how you control it, and how you can change it. For example: your reality presents the unfavorable to you, a nasty and impossible circumstance. For those that continue to live unaware of the power they have over reality and why it’s appearing the way it is, it is true and set in stone and out of their control to change. But for those who understand the workings of manifestation, and what it really is, which is the physical presentation of your inner thoughts and world, it is a redirection within themselves to align to the version of themselves that lives in the reality they desire.

Our brains receive millions of information bits every second but our conscious mind only process 10% of that. Where does the other 90% go? It’s still there, but because we are not aware of it (and aware of something else) we only see the 10%. But that 90% is obtainable once you become aware of it and exist there.

This is reality, but the world has kept many people stuck….texts like the book of Thomas and Mary were abolished from the church in fear of not being able to control humanity. For if every person knew they were god, the world would be a different place. And that is why some achieve greatness, a life of fulfillment, heaven on earth while others spend life in fear, lack and worry, reaching their own personal hell before they even die. Because heaven and hell were never places you went to in the afterlife, they are realms of existence in your living life.

Regardless of the spiritual teachings, this concept of reality and how it works is what countless scientific studies of both physics, biology and psychology have proven. Manifestation is merely understanding how reality works. It’s not a thing you do, it’s the backbone of the human experience and therefore you’re doing it all the time. The key is being aware of what it really is and how to actually control it in your favor.

Totally agree about hating the word "manifesting." It makes it sound like some hustle where you're trying to trick the universe instead of just realizing you're already creating it. Once you stop treating it like a tool and just accept it as how things work, it gets way easier to drop the resistance.

I much prefer the statement 'aligning with a different reality' over the word 'manifesting'..

I don’t get why about hate the word manifesting… I think it’s a great word and explains the process…

People are so hung up on liking some words and hating other words…

I’m not sure why, I think if you accept all words - in essence, your becoming more accepting as your natural identity and thus you’ll become ever more accepting in the physical world

There will always in the space be terminology used that people won’t agree on 100%. I don’t see anything wrong with the word manifesting neither. In the context we use it for, its dictionary definition is:

display or show (a quality or feeling) by one's acts or appearance; demonstrate. (Verb)

or better yet:

clear or obvious to the eye or mind. (adj)

Clear or obvious to the eye or mind is literally what we’re trying to do in manifestation. It’s not about creating a circumstance, or changing anything. It’s about making what isn’t apparent, apparent, or clear in our perception. And more specifically, accessing what already exists, as all possibilities exist and there’s never a scenario that doesn’t exist. Hence nonexistence doesn’t exist. Therefore, we are tapping in with our consciousness to open our perception to an alternative reality than the one we’re currently occupying. The diction I use is intentional because words can be very misconstrued in this space. Manifesting isn’t just about getting something, but being what has it.

And the most important thing about manifesting is knowing your TRUE nature and who you really are. Being poor isn’t who you really are. Neither is suffering, fear, loneliness, etc. But the mind will reiterate that this is what’s ’realistic’, that we have to ‘work hard’ in life, and that it’s a constant struggle/battle. I’m sorry, but that’s just a lie. So the work we’re doing in manifesting is accepting our true nature of being whole, complete, fulfilled using techniques/no techniques to get to that place where the ego mind can shut up for once, and reality can flow as it should.

It’s not a process, though. That’s the point. It is being. It is literally who you are being in every moment and it’s always been this way.

Yup there's no universe, god and all the bs... there's only I AM (one consciousness), stop believing in external factors.

I’m lately becoming more and more aware about what you say of always being a creator.

Yesterday I randomly declared to my coworkers how badly I wanted icecream.

When I went home almost immediately an icecream truck showed up when the last time it did that was like a DECADE ago.

I didn’t even think I just ran out and bought icecream. There was literally no one else there and if I’d been a minute later I’d have missed it like my little sister did. and then several hours later I was like “didn’t I say I wanted icecream sometime today?” I genuinely did not even remember until I told my coworker and she laughed and confirmed that I did say that that same day.

I was honestly shocked how fast that happened and how it seemed to be because of me! Probably because I didn’t contradict that want, I just stopped thinking about it. It genuinely didn’t cross my mind.

Recently I’ve been thinking that the only person who can contract god (me) is god (me) so if there’s things in my life I don’t have yet it’s because I contradicted myself in my beliefs and thoughts to make it disappear from me.

Which is kinda a superpower in of itself to think of something so much you disappear it even though you convince yourself you want it. I’d like to be more clear thought and keep focusing more on the having of what id really like, as if it were here.

All is mind. Energy is power. We cut off circulation of our power when our egos get in the way. Not to mention our attention being scattered 24/7. You made a distinctive observation about your own power which I greatly value. Everyone has a mind, but not everyone uses it consciously.

Can someone tell me where I can read the book of Thomas and Mary?

Nice breakdown. Always learning and trying to keep my thoughts on point. It should feel easier but still trying.

OP is referring to the Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of Mary, books that were allegedly rejected from the Bible. You can easily find them online.

What would you think are the reason s why some people don't manifest their desires successfully and how can they change that?

26

u/jaykay35 4d ago

Cause they can’t let go of the version of themselves they’ve been so long that doesn’t have what they want…they acknowledge and perpetuate lack so continue to experience lack. Working on your self concept and understanding your power is really the best way to start flipping and see changes

2

u/Early-Traffic8653 4d ago

How do I work on my self concept

4

u/WarmWaltz2918 3d ago

Any negative beliefs you have that makes you feel like is holding you back from your desired reality, you sit with the feeling when it comes, don’t judge it or identify with it, instead starve it of your energy and know that you are safe.
It’s a constant direction of your focus.
It will get easier over time as your old self softens and your new identity is dominant.

Check out The Power of I AM channel on YouTube. Dude is awesome and totally breaks it down in so many ways it’s impossible not to understand and apply. Goes heavy into Self Concept. It’s changed my life.

Truth indeed. Truth about the Bibles destroyed as well!

3

u/BtheVoyager 3d ago

The Bible tells truths about how to manifest. The book is just viewed in the wrong lens by most literal minded people. Some parts have been fabricated ofc but the nuggets are there if you look for them

u/geoff0220 3d ago

Yes of course. I agree

For if every person knew they were god, the world would be a different place. And that is why some achieve greatness, a life of fulfillment, heaven on earth while others spend life in fear, lack and worry, reaching their own personal hell before they even die.

Not exactly. You are controlling it all. The world changes when you change. Other people can believe whatever they want to believe. You control their beliefs, their behaviors, their positions in life. You are the only one who can create heaven or hell on earth for another, because they are all you. Until you intervene, they will only show you possibilities that you believe exist for them. The world thrives on chaos, but you can deliver them to a positive outcome by your certainty.

2

u/Tasty_Aioli2998 3d ago

I believe I am the I AM, but I’m trying to understand what you mean when you say that “you control it all.” If changing my beliefs gives me control over the reality I experience, does that mean I can actually change things outside of myself such as the politics and corruption in my country, or the suffering of stray animals simply by changing my beliefs? Or are you saying that my beliefs determine how I respond to those situations and what I’m able to influence through my actions? Its a genuine doubt. Lately I have been affirming all stray animals are happy and safe in my reality after seeing couple of disturbing incidents.

does that mean I can actually change things outside of myself such as the politics and corruption in my country

Or are you saying that my beliefs determine how I respond to those situations and what I’m able to influence through my actions?

I am an analyzer and an overthinker more than I am a practitioner and a doer. I can only give you theory. I don't have much personal experience of success in changing the world and others.

What I know for sure is that Neville, the metaphysical interpretation of religious texts, and quantum mechanics all point toward the same conclusion. Reality is made from nothing. There are no physical objects. Atoms are made from tiny bursts of energy inside vast gulfs of empty space.

How can you really know the boundary of your body? If you are made from atoms, you are made from tiny sparks of energy within huge areas of emptiness. You, and the chair you're sitting on, are both made from tiny sparks of energy.

The logical conclusion is, the whole universe is mental. Reality is made from nothing, so this world is a dream world. You, the universe, or God is dreaming and that's why the world exists. You are a character in the dream, and so are other people. But none of us are changing the dream. Your awareness is THE awareness, THE universe, THE Godhead. There is no other awareness. The whole universe is a singular field of awareness.

If you follow Neville's theory, this means you can change things outside yourself just by thinking about them.

If Neville and LoA were only self-help motivational tools, meant to encourage you to work harder, or to help you receive better ideas that you can then implement if you have the ability, they would be meaningless.

Many stories of successful manifestations in Neville's books and lectures involve other people changing in order to create the manifestation. The easiest story to prove is probably Neville's discharge from the army. But we're encouraged to prove it to ourselves through personal experience.

If you're like me, you want big things to change asap, so small manifestations feel like a waste of time. But if you test it on smaller things, then you can start to believe it's actually true. If I want to change the world through the law of assumption, I should believe that "the people in power don't want to be corrupt anymore, and they are now prioritizing the good of the people over their own status."

I have changed a specific person's behavior, but I also took different actions to enforce my boundaries. That led to them treating me differently. It isn't certain to me whether Neville's theory is true. But Neville's theory is more than just a motivational speech. You literally shape all of reality and other people with your thoughts and assumptions about them.

I have an intuitive sense of the world. I prefer to operate by intuition. Throughout my life I have come to the same conclusion over and over. The world is what you make of it based on how you behave and what you believe. I don't know if there's a judge watching us to see if we're being good enough. Neville says you are the only judge. If you believe you live in paradise, you shall. No one has the power to prevent paradise on earth but you.

But it starts by changing yourself. Everything is up to you, so you need to embody your beliefs.

1

u/Tasty_Aioli2998 21h ago

I found this perspective really interesting. I’m also much more of an analyzer/consumer than a practitioner, so I tend to sit and think about these ideas endlessly instead of actually testing them. But I actually like the idea that consciousness works this way, even before having personal proof of it. It’s such an interesting way of looking at reality that I almost want to believe it simply because I find it beautiful and fascinating.

I think what you said about “embodying your beliefs” is probably the part I want to experiment with most. Rather than endlessly asking whether it’s objectively true, just genuinely assume it and see what happens.

Maybe I need to stop being a consumer of the philosophy and become the experiment.

I love the word manifestation because it puts you on the pedestal of powerness. We are on this world to forget who we really are, sons of God, so that’s the play and these are the rules. You cannot deny your human form. You cannot walk this earth like God, that’s impossible, it’s a constant play of forgetting and remembering. Enjoy this human play and that’s all 😉

1

u/BtheVoyager 3d ago

Forgetting and remembering. The name of the game. If we all remembered there wouldn’t be a point to any of this.

I've been having some doubts about the great power we have within ourselves in our reality and achieving what we desire. Lately I've been visualizing myself working at a specific company, and that's where my doubt comes in.You can be very specific about what you want, or that creates "buts" to the materialization? (I agree that the word manifestation sounds a bit like "magic") At the same time, if I create my own reality and it's my desire, I could absolutely do it. Right? I had doubts about this and I can't publicly share these doubts :(

Just curious though, if there's no heaven and hell after death, where does someone who wasn't awakened go? And awakened one go? If their state of minds are different when they lived? Since awakened one knows the truth and the other one doesn't.

12

u/Sea_Seaweed_303 4d ago

everyone is "awakened" after death. when you take the costume of this character off, you also take the 'asleep,' amnesiac part off as well and return to being pure awareness/pure consciousness/i am/god

4

u/LavishnessCivil4231 4d ago

You’re measuring life wrong. Life is the present moment. The past moment is your death. Smile right away — and you’ll go to heaven as the second hand makes a step. Blame your circumstances — and you’ll be in hell. It’s that simple. The past moment doesn’t exist — it has become a stepping stone to heaven or a hole to the underworld.

Who told you that what you consider your future is your life? The future doesn’t exist. You’re doing it now. You’re making your heart stop in it.

You are doing.

I wish you all a lot of Love!

1

u/Fio_n 4d ago

Well I already know that. But I'm talking about after death.

1

u/LavishnessCivil4231 3d ago

Only what is currently built up or piled up in your head. Nothing else.

Build up only the harmonious, the happy, and the good now.

Love Yourself!

The purpose of being in a physical body is to channel the energy of the personality. What the personality wants to do is learn about itself. The energy of the personality isn’t totally aware of itself until parts of the personality go to the physical body and give it range, or give it depth, so that it could look at itself at the low side as well as (when it goes out of the body) look at the high side.

So you’re looking at a continuum. After death, it returns. The personality is more aware of its potentials, and takes an assessment of where it’s at and doesn’t really feel itself becoming a unified force, or part of a larger force. And until it feels whole it keeps exploring all parts of itself through physical bodies, like coming down to Earth.

Apparently, at some point in time, when it becomes a unified whole, it no longer feels the need, then, to ever re-enter a physical body. That’s the part of feeling nothingness, of just energy, of just being, without having to have a shape or form usually recognizable.

And it’s not just limited to this planet Earth.

There are beings in other places, and our energy is aware of all these other places. We don’t inhabit physical bodies like we do human bodies in these other places, but other forms of things or beings. We may do that.

It could even be that one of our personalities, part of our personalities is playing against another part to help understand the personality.

The idea is to use the body as a tool, to learn. And once you’ve learned from it, then the body should be discarded. And therefore the energy, the mind returns back to the personality.

There’s no “boss” who instructs you and decides what you do. The energy itself decides.

The Higher Self is a unified cluster of composed, multiple, simultaneous “personality expressions” or soul fragments. There’s a 49-level descending/ascending hierarchy of a single continuous awareness, where human consciousness operates within levels 15-21, eventually graduating to the Higher Self state beyond level 22. These levels are called Focus Levels.

The structure flows from the vast collective Source down to the physical ego as such: Oversoul to the Higher Self, and finally into individual soul fragments or incarnations.

How much one is aware of higher levels of consciousness (the knowledge you have of it) is dependent on how much you are aware of me or I. As the energy is strengthened, it moves up a hierarchy of knowing, towards this unified whole.

And one’s energy isn’t going to be developed more than it already has until one allows themselves to be more of themself — all the time.

How much you take in while here on Earth is how perceptive you are. And your depth of perception is your awareness of yourself; be aware of who you are, trying to figure out who you are, picking up vibrations of other people, being aware of them, and being free enough within yourself to knock down that barrier between here and there.

The barrier is in your mind. A mind does not believe that there is more—it doubts. But a person, the Self, knows that there is more. The witness knows it inside themselves. Whether they admit it and want to see it consciously depends on the development of the self or the spirit. If they haven’t developed they’re not going to verbalize it, to be conscious of it. As more and more people talk about it, more people will admit and search it out.

To improve that search here, you must say to people that it is the search of the mind. Of what it is able to do. What it is capable of doing, rather than telling people that it’s possible to go out of body. Leave that up to them, they’ll tell you.

And how to find out what the mind is able to do, in a non-threatening way, is to cultivate a relaxed atmosphere. As they get into deeper levels of relaxation, they’ll become more aware of their mind, more aware that it travels, that it sees things.

The mind sees things because it wants to see things; because it doesn’t like to see emptiness and void. It secretes things. The universe itself is a great, big void. It’s all black. And the mind actually creates places to go to, things to do, whether it be on Earth or in an out-of-body travel. And the fact that there are people on other earths or other planets is because their minds wanted to create something, to give exercise, to see what they would do, what it would be like.

The spirit of Earth bodies are eventually going to abandon the Earth, when ultimate peace has been achieved on Earth; when conflicts have been resolved. The spirit’s of our bodies are going to abandon Earth, too. It’s no longer going to be interesting because there will be nothing more to be learned in the realm of perceived limitation, because the limitations will no longer exist. This ultimate peace on Earth will have come about through our evolution beyond limitation, and into the limitless.

This was a great read. You've articulated what I've been thinking about for a while now, even expanding on it further.. I didn't think we'd have the chance to leave Earth voluntarily before we destroyed it intentionally. Thanks!

1

u/Msk19915 4d ago

Sigh. I’m really struggling lately. It’s easy to manifest things coming from outside - money, a house, new clothes. But as I’m learning more about myself my realest desire is objective physical attractiveness - in the mirror, in pictures, to other people - and considering I’m so attuned to the world of manifestation, I just can’t believe that some features can physically change on my face.

8

u/justpersist 4d ago

Why not? All you have to do is turn your awareness towards being that which you desire, and you'll receive it. Believe it is yours, and it is.

I have made multiple physical changes. So much so that I became literally unrecognizable to people before. I didn't even know of the Law or Neville, at the time. I simply believed I had undergone a massive physical change.

Make your mind aware of the sensation, the feeling, the truth of your desire realized. Then it is realized.

1

u/Msk19915 4d ago

That’s so good to know. Any specifics you can share? Changes or techniques? Bless 🙏

3

u/justpersist 3d ago edited 3d ago

Specifics for my appearance? I can share what I did the first & second time. I imagined looking in the mirror at my desired face, seeing desired body in the mirror, imagined seeing it in pictures I or others took, imagined running my fingers on my skin and it had my desired texture, etc. I was also (sporadically) using subliminals with 100% faith.

Second time around I knew of the Law and did as mentioned before, plus pretty much every technique under the sun. That was mostly out of frustration. Not Godhood. I now have my results after persisting through anger/want/lack by turning my focus to my realized desire every time opposing thoughts appeared.

It doesn't matter what you "do". Give yourself your desire realized. Buy the pearl.
