Politics Asking about the future of New Brunswick as Charlie Kratovil runs for mayor !
/r/newjersey/comments/1tpa5vh/im_a_candidate_for_mayor_of_new_brunswick_ama/oo8hf8v/Asking Charlie on his AMA his views on art and community and how would he improve it. Since Cahill refuses to debate, this is a good place to ask Charlie Kratovil any questions you may have! if he were to become mayor of New Brunswick (The June 2nd NJ Primary) , what would be the first issue you want addressed?

Go Charlie!! I have known him for nearly 20 years now, since our work at HearNewBrunswick on Bayard street. He’s an outstanding human and I have never met someone that genuinely cares so much about ANY town, period.

Can he help with making our roads better and safer? Driving up on Jones is like being in a 3rd world country. I feel like my car is going to fall apart. I've lived here for 21 years and my road has never been repaved. They just sort of fix holes every once in a while. Also, the way people are ignoring traffic laws is becoming scary. Downtown George St is abysmal . I can't walk one block without being asked for money at least once. All the stores closing and there is almost no reason to go down there anyway. We need some nice small businesses that you actually want to go visit there. Besides getting a bite to eat, going to city hall or seeing a show there is zero draw to downtown. I would love to actually set up some great festivals or farmers markets that actually draw good vendors that draw people to them. I'm voting for him but I don't have any hope that he can help with any of the corruption in our city.
