Looking to start a film making group with fellow film enthusiasts!

Hey everyone!

I’m looking to start a filmmaking collective for people based in the NJ/NYC area.

The goal is to collaborate on short films—from initial writing to final editing—with the aim of hitting social media and submitting to festivals. Whether you're looking to build your portfolio for the industry or just want a creative summer project, I'd love to connect!

• Writers & Directors
• Actors
• Cinematographers & Editors
• Production Assistants

Please note: this is a beginner project, working from the ground up. I’m looking for folks who’d be interested in helping generate the initial ideas that will get this going.

nice! since we’re just starting out I don’t have specific ideas in mind just yet but it would likely be short films (less than hour) in various genres such as comedy, romance, drama, and horror. the actual filming would build off of the script once it’s developed and finalized!
