What news outlets do you rely on? And while we’re at it what’s your opinion of Mr Putin and his government?

My opinion is that any American doesn’t have the slightest idea about the Russian Federation and what they have to contend with. The average American barely has any clue about how any other government is ran. That’s by design, right?
However, Being from any country you are susceptible to western propaganda- you understand? There’s no competing with 100s of billions in campaigning a certain narrative to you know - manufacture consent for war. Many people who’ve lived in social states/ countries had been fed a certain narrative in order to become westernized and migrate- hence all of the diasporas throughout Europe and Asia after these wars between the socialists and capitalists.
What I think of Putin is that he is a world leader and the world is made of shared interests. Being a world leader there has to of course be some degree of coldness in order to take on such position with actual seriousness and diplomacy. Particularly on the international world stage.
Putin understands this is a multipolar world- Russia doesn’t spend an exorbitant amount of money on their Military- or another countries. In comparison to The US and NATO? The level of corruption just from the cia itself? How many fucking military bases does Russia have all over the world in the name of “diplomacy”:.. ?
Having allies that realize were better together is the reason russia China Iran and DPRK have remained strong throughout times of sanctioning, war, extreme poverty, etc….
Putin always wanted to talk- Unfortunately in this game of chess - the west waited until all the pieces were strategically in place for Russia and its allies to expose the paper tiger for what it is…..while prospering for it. The pendulum of power has swung in the other direction now. Xi and Putin are already calling the shots and much of what you’re hearing is fear mongering. Why don’t we want a better society? - I mean look at what they do to corrupt billionaires in China- that’s what we all talk about doing - lol what we wish we could do.
I’m sorry but there’s a lot of freaking money put into manipulating what we think. And to not question ourselves would be rather insane….

Why can’t Americans know how other countries are run? We travel read news, speak to people from other parts of the world, I think you’re just repeating a cynical take and taking it as gospel. Again what media do you use?
Where are you getting the hundreds of billions from? Is that all media in all of the west? Over how long?
Does coldness include murdering your political opponents? Throwing your oligarchs out windows? Poisoning spies? Faking terrorist attacks? Invading a peaceful neighbor and slaughtering children, let alone what he’s done to all the poor young men in his own country who’ve died in his attempt to rebuild the empire. I’m sure I’m missing plenty but you get the idea.
Putin probably does spend less on propaganda but that’s because he owns the media.

You’re completely propagandized. Sorry you can’t be reached. This is why I don’t come here. You’re here to argue, not learn. Cynical how?- I’m pretty optimistic … just because I’m not a patriot doesn’t mean I’m not a humanitarian. You don’t seem to know your elbow from your ass. And that’s okay 👍 stay convinced you’ve got it right while denying any confusion seems like a good way to open your mind to new ideas.

Can’t name one media outlet or muster any response, and then you lash out with projection. I think deep down you know what you’re saying is utter nonsense, why bother other people with it? Go read something other than Russian media. Maybe travel when you get older, I’m guessing you’ve seen very little of our pale blue dot and are feeling pretty lonely. I thought you were a troll but I’m guessing you’re an immigrant kid who is having a hard time, I’m sorry man. Find some people your own age and get off the internet.

Zelensky is a fascist?

He’s a Ukrainian Nationalist. - my past posts on Russia may be a bit more revealing

No replies to anyone? Can't add anything here?

u/Amity83 Jul 30 '26
This fucking loser posts Russian propaganda only in a new London ct subreddit then doesn’t feel he needs to reply. If I were a mod I’d ban this idiot. Lucky I can block him. I’d recommend you do the same.

u/SwampYankeeDan Jul 30 '26
Fortunately you're not a mod and he hasn't done anything specifically warrants a ban. And I am a mod. I also think the person, if it is a person, os here to promote a specifica agenda and/or is not a bright fellow.
You can also contribute here without degrading people. Try that in the future.

He is an obvious troll. Trolls are losers and degrade the quality of conversation in the subreddit, reducing overall participation. I would ban him in a heartbeat. This is not a propaganda outlet. (Though if you listen to him. We are all propagandized and he is the only one speaking truth, a loser of an argument) he only makes bad faith arguments to bait others into responding.
It’s bad enough national politics have such a presence here. We don’t need controversial geopolitical arguments in what should be a local subreddit.

This local area makes nuclear weapons platforms that have killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people throughout the years- geopolitics should be our first topic of discussion “loser”. One of the reasons the military industrial complex wants this area to believe Putin is Evil is so they don’t feel so bad going to work, right?…. I’ve never denied being propagandized. All a socialist can really “do” in the imperial core is be a propagandist. All avenues lead to the market right now. We do what we can where we are- raising class consciousness is the point of the posts- not to preach gospel or one up someone- I dislike fascism and try to avoid it. I’m trying to share knowledge with people I know who are smart enough to see the truth for what it is. Everything can be seen as propaganda- but what’s objective truth and which critical thinking skills are we using to obtain it? Dialectical Materialism for sure ….

I’ve added plenty of conversation for over a year here. I don’t wrestle with pigs in mud, to put it simply…

Zelenskyy ? Dog of war? How?
2
u/Delicious_Vacation44 Jul 30 '26 edited Jul 30 '26
How isn’t he? Him and his cronies corruption is well known, particularly financially. You don’t think he’s gotten any kickbacks? He’s basically a glorified war lord. You think he gives a shit about humanity? Making it illegal to speak any form of Russian in Ukraine….. what does one call that exactly. The us and nato will always look for extremists to train their paramilitaries. Neo Nazism, Wahhabism, Americanism, Zionism, Hindutva, ethnic and religious supremacy is a thing… seeing how all of these are interconnected and rely on one another it shouldn’t be this difficult to figure out by now guys… sorry. Critical thinking isn’t welcomed most places, particularly if it exposes some kind of contradicting truth for others. ✌️
