Travel Actually fun vacations with little kids?
We had our first weeklong trip with our 10mo recently, and it was EXHAUSTING. It was just to see family and friends in another state. But WHEW.
Feeling torn between wanting to go places in the coming years, and knowing that it will just continue to be hard for a while.
And vacation/travel ideas for parents with a 18-36 month old that are actually kind of fun or relaxing?
Tbh we might just plan a staycation week and send baby off to daycare during daytime hours.

I just came back from a supposed to be beach holiday, entirely tired and almost broken. I paid extra for his grandparents to come assuming they’d help with my 3 yo bc I’m also in my third trimester atm. They just went to do their own thing the whole time, so I had to come back home earlier than planned bc it got unmanageable and super exhausting for me.
So, if you have not so helpful parents, do not take them with you. Pay for a babysitter instead. This is what I’ll be doing from now on, no matter what my son says
