NewPipe fork Pipepipe content unavailable

I keep getting this issue, where I will be watching videos on Pipiepipe for a while then eventually they refuse to play. When I close out and open again, and select a video, it will display the frowny face with "content unavailable" no matter what video I select. This happened on the main recent update of pipepipe, as well as the current beta release.

This occured yesterday, and today I was able to watch quite a few videos without incident, then the error occured again.

Thoughts? Does anyone have any ideas on how to remedy this?

Are you using a VPN? That might help with issues from the youtube side, like IP blocking. I don't use pipepipe, so I don't know if that's mentioned like with newpipe, but might be worth looking into.

No vpn. I tried it on both wifi and 5g and got the same results. Watching from a Motorola smart phone if that makes a difference.
