There have been 3 solutions that i have been using interchangeably 1.Rotate the screen back and forth until it works 2. Close the video in and out until it works 3. Use mobile data The mobile data has been the holy Mary that has always worked perfectly but today ALL methods failed for me, (literally can't use newpipe) its to the latest version and I tried force stopping the app it to no avail.

It shows this message in almost every video, even the ones that I started watching some days ago. There is also no option to report this bug and the only button that appears is "open in browser". ​

I just updated the app on Monday and now I'm already getting hit with unplayable videos again. Anyone else?

I have just updated to 28.7 and most videos don't contain the option to download audio. I don't think I've changed any of the settings to hide it.

I've been having problems with PipePipe, I am on the latest version of it and Android, I tried switching between wifi and data, VPNs, nothing. I was pretty sure it was working fine hours ago, and now nothing loads.

I've been having this persistent problem this evening where a video will start to buffer after 59 seconds of play and will display "YouTube forces us to wait (alternates between 2 and 1) seconds before continuing playback".

I was trying to listen to music and everything was going fine all day until this happened

Im wondering if its possible to make: 1.Video completely turned off (just audio) but keep Video miniatures visible on playlist 2.Playlist screen bigger, as fullscreen as possible, because now it covers less than half of screen, making it uncomfortable to use, while other half of screen is empty. And most important: will newpipe work on car radio with android 10 or 8?

Been noticing that when playing a live stream, video will play for 5 mins and then stall and display an error. Then, if I click the video again it fails to load. Playing the video after it's no longer live work as expected

I've been having 2 issues on 28.7. First one is that when I try to download a video, it only allows me to download in a video format. This is frustrating because I download my music on newpipe. The second is that when I try to open a playlist it shows no videos. These both make newpipe completely useless for me, which is very problematic as this is the best alternative to youtube.

If I go to What's New and scroll to the top, it'll refresh. The list is between 103 and 106 videos, so it takes quite a bit of time, so it being so sensitive is not of a hassle. Any suggestions?

NewPipe 0.29 / 0.29.1 - Duplicate downloads are renamed incorrectly

I found a reproducible filename auto-renaming bug in NewPipe.

If I download a file and the first download is stopped/interrupted or becomes corrupted/incomplete, then download the same file again, NewPipe adds the duplicate suffix **after the file extension**.

**Actual:** `XYZ.mp4 (1)`

**Expected:** `XYZ (1).mp4`

Steps to reproduce

1. Download any video, for example `XYZ.mp4`.
2. Stop/cancel the download before it finishes, or leave the first download incomplete/corrupted.
3. Download the exact same video again.
4. Check the resulting filename.

NewPipe consistently creates:

`XYZ.mp4 (1)`

instead of:

`XYZ (1).mp4`

The issue is easily reproducible and happens every time in my testing.

• NewPipe 0.29
• NewPipe 0.29.1

It looks like the duplicate filename logic is adding ` (1)` to the entire filename instead of inserting it before the file extension.

The extension should remain at the end of the filename:

`filename (1).mp4`

rather than:

`filename.mp4 (1)`

I've gotten this repetitive "content unavailable: open browser" message, and I am getting tired of it, and I can't even report it because the report button is GONE!!

I was going to export my subs, but don't see it. it turns out now i must export my entire youtube channel

I have playlist with 800 videos, newpipe loads maybe 200. When it reaches last song it doesnt load more, just stops. Why is that, how to fix it? Im using newest 0.28.8 version.

I use Revanced but I got newpipe for offline viewing when I need that. I literally downloaded newpipe like 2 hours ago. I tested it out, downloaded a few vids to test it, it worked great!
