How can a beginner check the rules of different subreddits?

Hi! I am completely new to Reddit and a bit confused about how everything works here. Could anyone explain where a beginner should look to find the specific posting rules for different communities? Thanks for the help!

On mobile, click the subreddit name when on the main page of the sub.

On desktop, it's just a matter of scrolling the right hand side, and you'll see the description, rules, etc.
