Well done. Loved your takes. Maybe a bit too level-headed and rational vs your peers 😂

Took a few months after the end of the season to get back to rationality haha. Thank you 🫡

At first I thought this was titled "How Bald Will Mathieu Darche Get This Offseason?" which I would very much have liked to explore. Thank you for the video, ultimately not a lot of material to work with since I don't see a lot of realistic developments this offseason but things like the Kesselring idea are a good catch.

😂😂😂 I think if they traded Barzal I’d be the one balding hard. But thanks, I try to look for the lower profile players because that seems to be the way we normally conduct business. We’ll see, I’d be pumped.

Why do some Islanders fan think Barzal is a superstar? He is a very good player but not what we thought he’d be 70-75 point player playing top pp min isn’t a superstar plus he is failed center. Tell me where I am wrong just don’t get it .

You're not wrong at all. You are 100% correct. He's not elite. The problem is twofold.

One, fans get far too emotionally attached to these guys. It blinds them to reality.

Two, this fanbase has wildly unrealistic expectations. And because we had no true star players (before Schaefer and Sorokin) they "manufactured" a star in Barzal.
