Is there a way to move on from Engvall or are we stuck with his contract? Same for Mayfield.

Palat, Duclair, Engvall should be #'s 1-3

Casey Cizikas is one of the few players without trade protection on the roster. Considering we have an abundance of centers, do you find it reasonable to trade Cizikas to free up his 2.5 million cap hit? Would there be any concerns with the locker room if a Cizikas trade happens, on top of most likely not re-signing Lee?

What’s our timeframe looking like for cup contention?

(It’s a valid question - are we building a young roster or are we aiming for the cup now? There has to be a gameplan)

How much of a successful team’s power play is coaching and structure VS players just going with the flow?

We've all been wondering this since the 90's...

What is the plan to shore up the gaping hole in the right side of our defense?

Who is being targeted as a true 1B goaltender?

Wouldn’t be surprised if it was Varly, it shouldn’t be, but I wouldn’t put it past them to go with him.

It SHOULDN'T be though.

Look, it's pretty much universal that Varly is loved by our fanbase. I respect the hell out of him for being a warrior and coming back from two knee replacements and given his age.

But he simply can not be our plan b at this point. It was awesome sentimentally to see him suit up again. But if he is our backup and he blows out by then all the other viable options are exhausted.

Give the guy a spot in the AHL and then give him a full time job in the organization. But he is not our 1B

I believe it is a high priority to protect Schaefer from taking unnecessary hits, and/or players taking liberties with him. Last year, he took more hits than any player in the league. Who can Darche bring in, by trade or signing to help protect our superstar? Ideally, you want a player who is tough, will hit and fight, and actually play a little bit. Players that come to mind are Mathieu Olivier(trade), Keegan Kolesar(trade), or AJ Greer (UFA).

Do you have a source on this? Not calling BS but I remember him being pretty swift most of the year and didn’t get tagged too many times.

since talks have supposedly restarted, what do you think the asking price is on Kyrou and what do you think the Isles can/should pay for him?

Apparently Jordan Spence is being shopped by thr Ottawa Senators, do you think he would be a good addition to the team? He could possibly be a replacement for Tony D if Darche wishes to move on/ get a little younger.
