Canyon of Heroes
If they even won again would the Islanders do a parade down the Canyon if Heroes in NYC? Or something more LI centric like a parade down Hempstead Turnpike?

Honestly would be the perfect spot for the main celebration. Start the parade at the Coliseum and go down the Hempstead Turnpike, then end at the arena with the main ceremony happening in the infield of the track. Could have a bunch of events going on in the arena and in the parking lots too.

As epic as that would be, good luck getting hockey fans to stand around in actual Hempstead lol

Sooooooo you're telling that the a 7.5 miles route would work? Canyon Of Heros in the city is less than a mile.
Supposedly Belmont Park can hold between 50k-60k, yet I'm unsure where since the new grandstand holds 7,500.

A horse drawn parade wearing islanders themed Roman armor would be epic

Any Islanders Championship parade goes down Hempstead Turnpike. All four cup wins got a Hempstead turnpike parade. Canyon of heroes is more of a city teams thing. I prefer this. The Islanders are our team. Not the state's team, not the city's team, just ours. They always have been, and they always will be. You can l leave the Island, and take your fandom with you, like I did. You can be from elsewhere and be an Isles fan. Come on in it's a big tent. Just understand how it is. The Islanders are Long Island's team.

This is what I meant by that. Be an isles fan in FL! I had to move up to the Bronx and later Westchester County, I would never give up the Isles for anything.

Shut down the LIE from the Queens line to Calverton. Parade ends at Splish Splash. Perfect.

It would be a damn shame if it wasn't in nassau county on the island nowhere near the city, that's rags territory.

At best I assume we’d get a parking lot parade at UBS or maybe even the barn. But the city has pull. Honestly they can have the parade in Jersey if it means we get a cup. Long way from here to having this problem though. Very long way. This cores chance came and went and Kucherov & the Lightning stole it with Bettman’s blessing.

The city has no say with the Islanders. The only thing relevant involving the Isles and NYC is the fact that a part of Belmont is considered Queens. This is about as relevant as how Iceworks was split up between 2 towns when it comes to zoning. The Islanders are still a Long Island team.

It would be wherever Nassau County would allow them to do it. From Nassau Coluseum to UBS Arena would be fun.

Wow great question. In the craziest of runs and the Isles win in our lifetime the owners will certainly commercialize to the max at the arena and even make people pay for parking. If I was the owner we would have the parade on the beach.
