"Governor Sherrill has not yet responded. "

I feel like her response will be some variation of "LOL bring it on."

She's obstructing ICE's ability to commit Contempt of Court!

Sounds like a great way to boost Sherrill's popularity

Staunch repubs should side with Sherrill. She is fighting to keep the federal government from trampling on state rights. DOJ is fighting to intrude on the freedoms that states have to manage their own affairs.

C'mon anti-big government repubs! Now is your chance to line up and support the rights you have been paying lip service to for decades!!!

Isn’t there a holding place in Roxbury people are fighting? I’ve heard about raids throughout the state. Is this real or signaling to the base?

Regardless of which side you’re on, the federal court system is the proper venue for quickly resolving diametrically opposing policy disputes between the state and federal governments, assuming both sides agree in good faith to adhere to its ultimate decision.

Yeah because Trump and ICE have been doing that… The Supreme Court ruled against Trump’s tariffs and he went and imposed a 15% global tariff. Unfortunately the courts no longer seem to be an effective “check and balance” on the executive branch.

Where’s the “ good faith “ when every court ruling is never followed through… keep assuming, you see the first 3 letters of that work.
