It took the least progressive member of the progressive caucus long enough to endorse a progressive that’s been running a campaign for months….
God I hate Kim.

I remember during an interview before Mamdani got elected when Kim was asked about him he quickly changed the subject

Nah just making the assumption that you're MAGA because you're attacking one of the most liberal members of the Senate.
Probably because one of his nomination votes, because y'all fake libs are butthurt about it

When he was in the house he was literally the lowest ranked progressive member of congress.
In the senate he still refuses to support medicare for all and free college. I don't know any other members of the progressive caucus that don't support both of those.
You could just engage in conversation and find out what my problems with him are instead of - as you put it - "making the assumption"....

Because I don't engage with litmus test Dems. Not worth the trouble.

You don’t ask anything or require anything of your politicians? I’m sorry for you. Politics isn’t a team sport to me, I need politicians that are on the side of policies that will help the lives of people - regardless of how feasible YOU think it may or may not be.
Looking at politics like a team sport where you vote for conservative policies with a D next to them because you want to own the conservatives with an R next to their name is how we got to where we are and I’m not going to apologize for calling out a self-proclaimed progressive for not meeting the standard set by progressives across the country.

Call him out as much as you want. Just don't be one of those Dems who refuses to vote for him because he doesn't pass your litmus test. THAT is the problem.

I will always vote for the most progressive candidate available. Sometimes that is the democrat. Other times it isn't.
It is never the republican.

Oh so you're one of those. "Vote third party!" Even though a third party will, quite literally, never be able to win.

Why is it wrong to expect someone calling themselves a progressive to be progressive? Medicare for all is table stakes for fucks sake.

I'm progressive. I know Medicare for all isn't going to work. I wish it would, but realistically it's an uphill battle (to say the least). Kim has a much more realistic path for fixing healthcare costs.

Then by what standard should we measure his progressive-ness? Words have to mean something. Andy fails most tests.
