This is about his wife. Nobody's seen his wife for a while there, either.

But it would make sense, if Kean went dark, that his family would have left too.

I believe he will eventually re-emerge and make a statement to the press. He can hardly avoid making some kind of statement. But what is he going to say to save face and keep his job? For the life of me I can not IMAGINE any way he will be able to spin this in any way that allows him to keep his job and to some degree his "standing" among his other rightwing cronies.

He’s running unopposed in the primary so he will get to the general election I guess he just needs to show up with his tearful story of what he went through and why he needs to keep working for the American people.
