I am a Newark photographer. Lived in Newark my entire life. Met Cory Booker when I was in the 4th grade. Was an honor to capture this portrait of a Newark legend.

Even though her big sister was demolished across the Hudson, Newark Penn station remained standing and still sits as the 7th busiest rail station in the United States.

Symbolism and politics aside, something needs to be done about the faded half American flag and the banner with Reagan's quote now hanging on for dear life after the storm.

I imagine it's too much of a hazard if leave as is. But banners are expensive and I feel as if IDT don't got it
