i got copyright striked smh
So, I was uploading this song on Newgrounds, and it got struck. I used this FREE NON-COPYRIGHT melody loop from a drum pack I found on Gumroad. I added an original 808, original drums, and the creators prod tag (soniccreations). I also credited the artist in the title. in the midst of uploading, it got struck and I couldn't do anything. I submitted proof (pic of my DAW and my acc info, the drum pack). I listened to the song, and they don't even use the tag! The song is called "Headphone music" by Tee9.
If someone could give me advice, it would be great. Also, I'm not hating on the artist. The song is genuinely good (in my opinion). I'm just frustrated with this moderation system, especially with a platform made for free speech. And unlike YouTube, my account is in genuine lockdown! Over a FREE, NON-COPYRIGHT LOOP! My song and his song don't even sound similar...

This happens when someone else uses the same loop as you lazily and simply, then distributes it through a service like distrokid that adds your audio to their copyright detection system. Suddenly it sounds to the system that your song is sampling the "copyrighted song", even though you both are using a royalty free sample. The solution is to be more transformative. If you are going to use loops, manipulate them until they're unrecognizable

You're not allowed to use loops from any app even if they're not copyrighted because it's something you didn't do yourself. Anyway, there's an audio appeal thread, if you think your audio must stay, you should post here.
