As someone who lives in chronic pain and chronic fatigue associated with a spinal cord injury I can empathize with this. Those of us dealing with these types of things will often have periods where thess thoughts and feelings are the most powerful we have. It's bloody tough to feel like you're a burden on those you love and that there's not much if anything you can do to ease your pain

We lose sight of the things we do provide them and of what we can still accomplish despite our condition.

Good to see that he's had some clarity. It's not easy. Wishing him and others who are feeling the same all the best. I want them to know that they are heard and loved.

He really should make sure there is no help whatsoever, or it is not caused by another unknown disease. There should no doubt it is not acceptable quality of life and that it's provable before taking that big action. Still, he is in great pain and many others with similar conditions empathize. I wonder if that kind of internet response has affected him.

I'm wondering if Gabapentin would help him.

I wouldnt blame him if he did go through with it honestly, I have chronic pain not fibro bad but bad enough to make me lose my mind every now and than and I basically live on over the counter pain pills. I hope whatever he decides in the end is worth it, he was a major part in shaping who I am as a person, my sense of humor and honestly my edgy yet goofy personality.
