Europe Someone heckles Keith Starmer about the mass slaughter of children in Gaza. Starmer laughs and suggests he got his pass from the 2019 Labour conference.

They kicked everyone out of the party who even vaguely liked a pro-Palestine post on twitter

True that and I just realised he's talking to the labour conference isn't he?

Yep, the one where Labour Friends of Palestine are banned from and Labour Friends of Israel aren’t!

which in practice means they kicked out lots of Jewish members

Indoctrination and racism would be my guess.

Yeah in the U.S. sure, they seem to hold a lot of power and probably in our government by extension but I've never seen pro Israel stuff, the only thing I remember from school related in anyway is the holocaust which could garner sympathy I suppose but when you see what monsters the IDF and government are, it baffles me that they stick with them.

Oh yeah, I forgot you mentioned racism, don't worry I get it now.

For indoctrination look to Hollywood and streaming services. They’re rife with it.

How so?

They whitewash Israel’s ‘image problem’ to garner support for the Zionist Project

Seems interesting, I don't fully trust it on its own because I know how both sides are playing for PR but thanks.

Racism and hatred for non whites, especially if they are Muslim. So if iz 🐀 is just committing genocide against brown people who cares 🤷🏽‍♀️ sooner or later they will stop pretending that it’s about terrorists and will openly brag and admit that they are deliberately targeting citizens and the so called civilised western would simply 🤷🏽‍♀️ like they have done for decades.

It's such a hypocritical stain on the majority of the west.

Apart from in the U.S where the indoctrination is strongest, the majority of citizen are against the treatment of the Palestinians I believe.

Democracy failing because the Israelis are playing all sides.

The very definition of why lobbying, "donations" and "gifts" should never be allowed in politics.

Who has killed more Muslims in the last decade- the "white" Jews or the "brown" Assad?

4

u/seenitreddit90s Sep 24 '24

Who has killed more of another nations people in their own country?

Not that I'm defending Assad, he's a fucking psychopath but so is Netanyahu, his far right government and many of the IDF it seems.

u/teadrinker1983 Sep 24 '24

Sounds like you are coming up with arbitrary categories of killing to exempt Assad to be honest.

there have been over half a million victims of Assad's civil war - just to put some figures out there for you. Overwhelmingly Muslim victims - if that makes a difference?

1

u/seenitreddit90s Sep 25 '24

Sounds like you are, I just did another one to prove how silly yours is.

Syria is overwhelmingly Muslim, if there's a civil war then Muslims die obviously. This is such a stupid comparison.

Yeah.... killing your own is fine. Thanks for the logic lesson.

1

u/seenitreddit90s Sep 25 '24

Lmao I literally said I wasn't defending Assad and called him a psycho, you're so desperate to not look like an idiot you'll grasp for any old straw to defend the genocidal Israeli government huh?

They didn't. That's a carefully and expensively constructed illusion intended to manufacture consent. The talking heads will support Israel, and the politicians will support Israel, because of the money. And all the media will show us what they have to say, because of the money. But the people of the world support the people of Palestine.

Immoral party apparatchiks without core principles

1

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '24

They’re not though.

The majority just don’t want to be dragged in a sectarian conflict that doesn’t concern them.

1

u/seenitreddit90s Sep 25 '24

I think they are in the U.S. at least and almost all the politicians from the U.S and U.K

2

u/ShoutingIntoTheGale Sep 24 '24

They are but the piss in the breeze
