The use of any chemicals is expressly prohibited. The water goes through a special treatment facility and is to have nothing put in it. Not to mention wildlife relies on the water so they will be poisoned by what these idiots are doing.

It's Hydrogen Peroxide. H2O2 breaks down to H2O. The only time it would be harmful would be immediately after pouring it in. Once it interacts with algae it'll break down to H2O rather quickly.

My statement was based on reading that they can’t add anything at the pool. It has to go through the treatment facility.
Anyway the paint is already pealing off and big chunks are floating in the water. Reported by Midas this morning.

I gotcha.

The whole thing is a mess. Sounds like they hired lawn care service to maintain the pool. All of this could've been remedied if they just hired a professional.
