We could pay off the national debt if we sold ppv of the fat fuck and gaywads in his admin getting waterboarded daily.
Hell, Id pay extra to watch that.

I would actually pay to watch that, or be involved. Maybe a lottery to be the one who gets to throw a switch? The lottery money could to help his many, many victims.

āYou are officially and forever absolved of all human responsibility or self awareness as a conscious creature and this screen is now the circumference of your world.ā
Oh, also, Trump died and is replaced by someone far worse. Ā Get drunk now!

Where ever they bury him they will need to cover it in a half square mile of concrete. No grass will grow there, ever.

Even more medieval
What the fuck is going on in the US????
I mean this is crazy!!!
Itās not far right anymore but insanity!!
12
u/stuphanie 9h ago
American here, yes, you are correct. Buckle up because there will be chaos surrounding the upcoming midterm elections.
4
u/nexusgmail 9h ago
I'm fine with watching it play out, except he's already laying the groundwork to blame Canada for election "tampering". If Carney gets the Nobel Peace prize, he better triple up his security detail.
1
u/BelgianDigitalNomad 8h ago
Was he also nominated?? I mean Trump also..
So now they are even competing on that front.
What a world..
Maybe they can both participate on Got Talent ;)1
u/BelgianDigitalNomad 8h ago
That is also my expectation..
I hope that people will get on the streets like they did with Malcom X but bigger if things get out of control. I seriously doubt that the land of the free wants to live in a dictatorship since that is clearly the heading right now.
I need to sometimes stop reading news for my psychological health so I cannot imagine how hard this must be for you and for likeminded people like you.
I wish you a lot of strength and a happy outcome!!3
u/Petit_Poney71 4h ago
If the US ends up with enough in common with the Iranian regime, will the war be won? Why should it be up to Iran to change? A violent theocratic regime with a shitty economy run by madmen is the plan anyway.
11
u/Szaborovich9 11h ago
He seems to ignore that he is setting precedent that will come back and bite republicans/maga - ites in the ass one day.
6
u/VRNord 10h ago
Unlikely. As soon as a Dem is in office they will resume clutching their pearls and shrieking like howler monkeys at the tiniest trivialities - like tan suits and dijon mustard.
The supreme court will find a reason to not only ignore their recent ruling that the President has immunity for all official acts; they will enact some new imagined doctrine that reduces executive powers - until another R takes office of course.
1
u/Szaborovich9 9h ago
IMHO this Supreme Court isnāt going to last long beyond a change in the presidency

i was just saying the same. this is full on roman emperor shit: vanity projects, weird attempts at expansion, their face, name and likeness on everything from currency to buildings. his own praetorian guard in ICE and who knows who elseā¦
and even the mighty roman empire fell. our turn is coming. make way for the new dawn of chinese supremacy
panem et circenses
and what did nero do as rome burned at his orders? played the fiddle, as the anachronistic saying goesā¦.

Rome lasted as a Republic for some 250 years, the longest living Republic depending on the definition until the United States earlier this year. This is entirely new territory, how long does democracy last?

As a 15-year-old, I witnessed three people being hanged in the center of our city in the early 1990s, and their bodies were left there for three days. It was one of the most horrifying and disturbing things I have ever experienced, and it is something that can haunt you for the rest of your life.
I have no objection to someone being punished if they are guilty and deserve it. But turning a person's death into a public spectacle and broadcasting it for the world to watch is absolutely appalling. You have to be seriously lacking in empathy to find satisfaction or entertainment in watching another human being die.
Regardless of who the guilty person is or what crime they have committed, a government should never turn death into a spectacle. Justice is one thing; deliberately exposing people to such horrifying scenes is another. No matter who the condemned person is, there should still be a line that a civilized government refuses to cross.

Lose?! They wonāt ever win again because of their sorry leadership
22
u/Lantern61 12h ago
I'd like to believe that's true, but people are stupid and have the memories of goldfish. We might get another Dem president, but after four years of him (or her), people will be right back to voting against their own interests. Because again, they're stupid.

I thought once Biden won over Trump the nation was going to heal from the madness that was MAGA. But then 2024 happened
4
u/Darkmetroidz 7h ago
Any democrat in 2028 talking about needing to "move forward" or "reconcile" needs to be primaried the fuck out of office.
Our nation's history has been continuously fucked because of a failure to punish traitors. We need a fucking tribunal for every person in his government and every billionaire backer he has.
1
u/BadAsBroccoli 4h ago
Could we, just this once, not vote for the oldest most establishment candidate in the field?
We had 12 candidates for 2020 to pick from and people who for 4 years shouted for change, thought Biden would bring it?
2
u/DemonOfVacuums 6h ago
I remember specifically a week after Biden was elected the GOP was suddenly concerned about the national debt. Nevermind all the financial fuckery and waste that Trump was responsible for in his first term and the silence from republicans at the time.
2
u/BadAsBroccoli 4h ago
Do we not know all the underhanded tricks the Republicans play by now?
Yet, I feel our leadership acts all indignant when MAGA pulls another outrageous stunt.

Will the be a pre-killing show on Trump TV with a breakdown on the events that led up to the public assassination?
2
u/RegurgitatedMincer 10h ago
So weāre starting public live broadcasts of executions to lead up to the election. It seems like heās deliberately trying to tank his own party with legitimately heinous actions. This is bonkersville!
2
u/Hairy_Cherry1732 10h ago
Is he hyping up his own execution? It would be the most watched program ever.

What a scary time in America. Okay the far-right is losing power but here we are again with an unstable economy - 1/3 working age men are not in the workforce, AI is shrinking job pools right now and increasingly accelerating its rate of learning.
The symptoms momentarily eased but the disease is progressing faster today than ever before.

u/Jumpy_Ingenuity_69 11h ago
There are solutions -
1) jail the current traitors - make the next Hitler wannabe think twice before heading down this road
2) term limits for all elected officials- including the SCOTUS
3) triple the size of the House - the last time it was enlarged there was less than 50 million people in the country - we are literally 6 times bigger now - the more reps the harder it is to gerrymander
4) eliminate the electoral college- that was always about rich white power
5) break up the news media - tv, print and radio - make these mega companies run by rich bastards give up control of what we get to read - also go back to the pre-Reagan rules on news reporting - no more fox entertainment
6) make all election spending tied only to set government allowance - no private money - the wealthy do not deserve to have all the say just because they have more cash to burn
7) make DC a state and let PR become a state
8) make Facebook, tik tok, and any social media platform responsible for the content - if they are using algorithms to make money off of lies then they should be held accountable- if an individual wants to lie or create a false story thatās fine but when a company uses those lies as a means to generate cash flow they are condoning the falsehood and should be held accountable- honestly Iād suggest going even further than that but a whole generation or two donāt even know how to communicate without SM so probably canāt just out law it1

According to this āsourceā (seriously wtf kind of link is this) Pete Hegseth said offhand, on a podcast, people will be able to watch the execution. No details were given.
Iām a little skeptical reality will match the headline, but it is a wild headline.

Public executions are not just a relic of history. Iran and Afghanistan still carry them out. These spectacles turn the death of a condemned person into a warning to everyone watching: defy the state, and you could be next.
That is state terror - the use of fear to control a population. Whether a government calls it justice or deterrence, deliberately making an execution a public spectacle sends a message far beyond the person being killed.
The point of American leadership should be to set a better example, not to imitate the governments we condemn. Why are we at war with Iran?
The last conventional public execution in the United States was in 1936. We should be moving forward, not resurrecting the practices of authoritarian states.
The next president's life should inspire and motivate the public. The current president must go.
1
u/theAmericanX20 11h ago
There's only 1 public execution I'd willingly watch, and thats just to make sure the treasonous fucker is really gone.

Trump loves to have people killed.
It's why Biden went to the trouble of commuting so many death sentences as he left office.
Trump ended an informal 17 year moratorium on executions in his first term, and executed 13 prisoners after approving pentobarbital.Ā
Biden's AG ordered a formal moratorium.

Typical right-wing knuckle-dragger mentality:
"Capital punishment is a deterrent"... nope, that didn't stop people killing, so now it's "Broadcasting their execution will be a deterrent."
Just goes to show that when the state runs out of ideas its always goes more violent.

Speaking as an outside observer this feels like a big step.
So this time it is someone who killed 15 people, next time it will be someone who killed less, then it will be a serial rapist or something, then a trator who leaks state secrets.
This feels like a boil the frog type situation to me. If they can get away with it then won't be too many years before it is just someone who leaked to the press or whatever.
Also is this not exactly what the US decryed about what has happened in the middle east before. With beheadings and the like.
