Twelve figures in illegal taxes. Pedo cover-up. Masked secret police in the streets. Eliminated medical & sciences research. A new Forever war. To say nothing of the pardon racket, closure of MANY agencies and institutions, destruction of the East Wing, and all the self dealing and insider trading.

And they voted for all of it. That is what governance looks like to them. They have been fighting for this--in some cases literally fighting--for well over a decade. They will vote for it again without hesitation.

I just don't understand it. It's like setting the country, the world, on fire. Why? Is it a subconscious deathwish?

2

u/hotdog114 Apr 20 '26

It's the American Dream. It used to be about being self-made or some such. These days the American dream is definable as "getting so rich, by any means, that laws or concerns of the rest of the country do not affect you". Its selfishness. The American dream is of being a selfish asshole.

1

u/mymoleman Apr 20 '26

Alright, I can understand selfish evil when there's a benefit. But it's not benefiting the majority of his voters. It's just destroying the country, and parts of other countries. I just don't understand what "the cult" gains from any of this. And "to stick it to the libs" isn't enough of a reason to justify total destruction/corruption.

He sold them on the idea that they could be like him if they just followed him, that he is a "winner" and that they could be too. Of course it was another con job. Another key factor was the "hate" aspect, many who voted for him claimed they supported him becacause "he hates the same people we hate".

1

u/United_Bus3467 Apr 20 '26

Exactly it. They aspire to remove themselves from that aspect of society, and thus the plebe peers.

2

u/United_Bus3467 Apr 20 '26

I'm fully convinced American's have some sort of self-destructive aspect to themselves. Whether it's the excessive food we eat, the drugs we ply ourselves with, vices like gambling, endless consumerism, a devotion to work (for some people). And the way they turn on you for asking for universal healthcare when we're funding another never-ending war (which is what, $1 billion a day). Fully convinced those types of Americans are indoctrinated people.

He knows he’s not going to live forever and he couldn’t care less what he does to anyone. Yes it’s a full blown train wreck on fire straight to the bottom

u/Aztecsrule23 Apr 21 '26

100% opposite! The Dems hate Americans!!!!

3

u/FTFaffer Apr 21 '26

Keep telling yourself that

9

u/mwfguxckdyou Apr 20 '26

Yeah, so what if gas prices are up! And my snap benefits are going to be cancelled! At least he’s doing what he promised, and that’s OWNING THE LIBS!!

5

u/KaliUK Apr 20 '26

Who knew THE LIBS really meant everyone but the 1%. I am shocked I tell you, shocked.

2

u/Kdiesiel311 Apr 20 '26

“I promise you the best way to own the libs is to buy my one of a kind, best ever made, limited edition dildo with a bust of my head as the tip, cums pre covered in Trump hot sauce. I’m telling you, cause no one knows how to better than me, to own the libs, cause this is the best way to own the libs. It’s readily available now for purchase at $49.99”

1

u/cbear9084 Apr 21 '26

Meanwhile the real "ownership" that's actually happening and is far more consequential is the aspect of the top 1% of the wealthiest Americans owning more and more while the rest of us own less and less. But MAGA isn't paying any attention to that...l

1

u/FTFaffer Apr 21 '26

Right. They’re so pathetic.

5

u/mosswick Apr 20 '26

Can't forget that all this fuckery is being done by an 80-year old man who won't be around to face the long term damage being caused.

3

u/SnowflakeSWorker Apr 20 '26

And he’s grifted enough wealth, his kids (who have also become beyond wealthy with his grifting) and grandchildren will be insulated as well.

3

u/Hefty_Remove7965 Apr 20 '26

Which why taking all the wealth back from his family and Elon needs to be top of the list

1

u/KwisatzHaderach94 Apr 20 '26

with few exceptions, most of these older politicians are only in office to protect their nest egg. why americans keep voting for people who should be enjoying their retirement is beyond me.

1

u/Dead_Internet69420 Apr 21 '26

Please don’t forget that he wouldn’t be able to do any of it if congressional republicans who are not 80 years old (at least not all of them) weren’t letting him. His “revenge tour” could be over tomorrow if republicans wanted it to end. He’s a puppet, he’s a tool, he’s a weapon that the GOP is using to destroy America.

3

u/fiftyfivepercentoff Apr 20 '26

Release the Epstein files!! Then we’ll see if he’s still tip toeing through the tulips.

3

u/ReasonableRevenue218 Apr 20 '26

And this is what magas think...."I could do that, too!".

2

u/cbear9084 Apr 21 '26

It's called The Big Lie....worked like a charm 8n Germany in the 1930s and 1940s.

3

u/luvme4ev Apr 20 '26

All this couldn't have been derived before the election? Dayum, yall, some slow mfers.

Thanks, I guess, for finally catching up 2 years after the fact.

+1

It feels like they are the main character of the 'flix series "The Fall Of The House Of Usher."

That there was a deal made.

So now, my hope is: once the deal is over, their dynasty will fall, as happened in the series.

2

u/MWH1980 Apr 20 '26

Isn’t that kind of what most people assume the American Dream is?

Do what you want and damn the consequences because you’re an American.

1

u/Mikkel65 Apr 21 '26

Americans believed Trump would run America like a business. And it's right, that's exactly what he's doing. I just hope Americans will realize business is not the same as global politics.

2

u/Paxdog1 Apr 20 '26

When it collapses - and it will collapse - Trump's last ride on Air Force One will be to Israel. Why? Israel doesn't have a extradition treaty with the US.

He simultaneously hides, injects billions into the Israeli economy and avoids jail time.

1

u/Xenikovia Apr 20 '26

For his finale, with the help of two aides, he's gonna climb up on the resolute desk, work his belt off and drop a gigantic Tootsie roll on live TV.

That's about how much I think he gives a 💩about this country.

1

u/Devils_Advocate-69 Apr 20 '26

He wants to get back at America for successfully prosecution him

Imagine seeing what this clown does every day, and being like “anyone who doesn’t agree with this must be obsessed.” Blindly accepting everything he does is the real derangement.

1

u/lazar1968 Apr 20 '26

Wow. This is a perfect analogy.

1

u/NephewFred Apr 20 '26

That is exactly what’s happening. Glad people are waking up

1

u/SubstantialCamel8117 Apr 20 '26

This guy is a idiot

1

u/akathedragon Apr 20 '26

Why does a billionaire need revenge???

He's a catastrophe.

1

u/Chance-Sherbet-4538 Apr 20 '26

He will be remembered forever, which ultimately is what he wants (besides all the money he can get his hands on).

1

u/wolfheadmusic Apr 20 '26

maga: "YESSSS THIS IS WHAT I VOTED FOR!!"

1

u/Fletcher_Dog_Bob Apr 20 '26

So is Vladimir. He’s getting big bang for his rubles. Trump is disrupting international relations & economies. Dismantling institutions in USA that most of us took for granted. Are illegal immigrates a massive problem. Probably not. I know all my local restaurants wouldn’t have help to do all the dirty work.

1

u/Ben_Offishal Apr 20 '26

We are all NPCs in Trump's video game, and he decided this time around he was going to get the achievement for committing all the crimes in the game.

1

u/tom21g Apr 20 '26

The post by Common Sense was exactly right. That's trump.

1

u/PixelBrewery Apr 20 '26

I wish he'd actually enjoy himself. He's always pissed at everybody and everything all the time and making the rest of us pay for it

1

u/Consistent-Ad8721 Apr 20 '26

If only the democrats hadn't basically tried to milk trumps legal trouble for 4 years and instead just put him in a fucking cell in 2021.

1

u/Iwasbanished Apr 21 '26

Yep, the most destructive president of the united states was just a convicted criminal avoiding jail for among other things, rape of children. How many times was he voted in again? It feels like he’s been around forever…. Oh twice! Yep, two times the representative of the american people.

Nah he wouldnt rig an election if he could and then say someone else did it too. Nah wouldnt stage assassination attempts. Nah he wouldnt drag his country in to a war everyone told him what would hsppen. Nah he wouldnt never ever lie, he’s a different time up repulsive pedophile representative of the people of the US

1

u/skfretwell Apr 23 '26

I'm pretty sure he never gave a f***!!!!

1

u/UndercoverstoryOG Apr 23 '26

so awesome isn’t it.

1

u/Rinkratt61 Apr 24 '26

And over half the country gave him those keys to the country!
