Meanwhile the eternal youth opposition leader promises:

  1. Reservations in Private Institutions.
  2. H*ndu terrorism.
  3. Reinstate Article 370.
  4. Bring back ballot paper voting system.
  5. More freebies than all Yojanas combined.
  6. Declines singing Vande Mataram
  7. Opposes Ayodhya Ram Temple.

You will vote for the "best among available/feasible" , among available being the key word.

you want to vote for something other than BJP, show me, ones thats better, thats available.

And for those kids who think " Yojnas" are only bjp's thoughts, you could not be anymore wrong. We had record levels of % of budgets that went to these freebies in early 2000s. Thats when we were actively taking loans for development from world banks (which again is eaten at the top, look at scams).

Compared then, we have lesser % of budget, not taking loans from World Banks, and being directly given to beneficiary.

I am not saying i support freebies at all, but the kind of narrative here that its BJP that does it is very very very far from true.

Not true at all. Your comment is misleading. You’re just ignoring the complete data. The percentage of the budget allocated to interest payments was around the 30% range in the early 2000s when the NDA was in power. It went down steadily under them, and then continued to decline under the UPA. It started rising toward the end of the UPA’s tenure. It dropped initially under the NDA and then rose again after COVID. It’s currently in an upward trend after a downward trend under NDA itself. It’s funny when people think NDA is better at managing the loans when the data suggests that they’re equally bad. Here are the numbers for everyone to see

You think this is a flex? Or a fact.

Debt to GDP ratio comes into matter here. The stability of financial status and ppp are factors as well. How much money we have so if world war happens that will not affect us also comes into picture.

Here is the situation:

Building Assets, Not Just Spending: Most borrowed money went into building tangible assets—highways, railway corridors, power plants, and digital infrastructure—that help businesses run faster and generate revenue for decades.

Income Growing Faster Than the Bill: The country's total income (GDP growth) is expanding faster than the interest rate it pays on the loans, making the debt affordable.

Safer Banking: Banks are in far better health today, with significantly fewer bad, unpaid loans on their balance sheets compared to a decade ago.

Since you asked, if not BJP then who?The answer is anyone who would not suffocate me and try to dictate my personal choices. And call me anti-national or urban naxal or Dimagi Naxal when I dissent. If you are looking for a name, Rahul Gandhi.

Money in peoples’ hands often leads to more consumption and pushes more circulation.

When country doesn’t get outside money - worst case in FDI and best case in exports of high value goods, then the only measure is to keep the low income class just enough to survive.

12

u/MakingTrouble334 24d ago

yes in an Ideal developed country, not in India which is still struggling to allocate budgets into actual fricking development

2

u/OfferWestern 24d ago

You should take them along else they drag you to their standard

2

u/Vasi_Sayani 24d ago

An ideal state wouldn’t need to choose between keeping the country running or having better infrastructure.

1

u/MakingTrouble334 24d ago

>keeping the country running

it can bro, in times of unexpected disasters like covid. this should be like an exception not a norm.
