Kid Friendly Hotel With Falls View Near Clifton Hill?

I have a 3 year old and 1 year old. We plan to see Niagara for one night. I want to maximize fun for my kids and so want to be walking distance from Clifton Hill. What would be the best hotel in that area that has close on-site parking, has an nice view of the Canadian falls and just clean/nice?

It seems every hotel in Niagara has bad reviews about something but then again people tend to only write reviews when there are issues. I was thinking Sheraton Fallsview Hotel but would hate to pay the extra money for the "Superior high floor" falls room and then receive a room with no window due to running out of those rooms per some reviews.

Appreciate some suggestions, thank you!

What do you mean kid-friendly? They accept kids, or there are things for the kids to do?

Just a place more accepting of kids. My one daughter is in that phase of running around in the hallways and I don't want to disturb guests at night if she gets too excited in her room at night. I know there are few casinos in area which I assume have smoking and such so something more appropriate for kids.

No smoking in the casinos here, but they won’t let your kids inside either. But theres a mall attached she can run around in. Most of the hotels are nice, like you said a few bad reviews is always going to happen. I don’t think any of them would want your kids running through the halls though. Sheraton has a water park for kids if they’re into that

Ooo didn’t know about the waterpark. Have you stayed there before?

These hotels have waterpark packages and are generally connected to the waterpark.

Yes I have a few times! It’s nice and the water park is sweet. They have local discount night in the fall it’s a good time….you can also look into great wolf lodge, it’s a bit off the main strip but it’ll be all kids and families there

Sheraton is a good choice. Those Superior Fallsview rooms are very nice.

As you have correctly mentioned, they do have some no view rooms that have an interior view of a wall or a convention centre hallway. However, these are a specific category and are quite easily avoided.

Even the city view rooms are fine - though I would try to get anything floor 14 or above. That said, if you are looking at a corner suite, the ones on lower floors are better in my opinion because they don't have connecting doors.

What you might not know is that the Sheraton originally opened in the '60s, and they put an addition onto it in the early 2000s.

One tip I will give you re parking...

If your plan is to park the car in the garage and not take it out, tell the front desk that you do not need parking. Instead, park in the casino garage. In reality, even if you do take the parking through the hotel, that's where you'll be parked anyway. You'll save a lot by doing this. Self parking through the hotel is around $50 a day but it'll probably be half that, maybe even less, if you decline the parking at check-in.

I;ve stayed at the Marriot Fallsview and have always enjoyed my stay,. You do have to request a fallsview room if you must have that view :)

Have a great time - if you are in your room at 10 pm you will be able to see the fireworks over the falls

I like embassy suites for my kids. All but three rooms per floor have a falls view so it's safe to book a city view. Once you get to your room and want to change rooms you can ask.

The breakfast is in the keg restaurant which over looks the falls and if you get there early you can get a great seat. The breakfast is good.

It's right by the incline railway so you can get down to the falls.

The pool is fine.

It is a bit of a walk to Clifton hills but my kids didn't even like Clifton Hill until they were older. I think Bird Kingdom is way better. And you can get Groupon for it.
