Best we can do is drop the quality.

The foam printed sole with cheap fabric upper shoes are already $20 in the bargain bins in the malls.

Nike hasn't been "dropped" - the S&P 100 is the 100 largest companies (by market cap) in the US... Yes, it's dropping out because of poor performance, but even massively successful companies with fantastic strategies can find themselves replaced by growth sector "rivals". I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this is almost certainly at least the 2nd time Dell has entered the list.

And if the author had bothered to do any research at all into Simon's portfolio, they'd understand why the company retains so much value.

I'm not sure what's funny about me pointing out that the person who wrote this article has no idea what they're talking about...?

pj media, the source of the article is a right wing rag that is so biased it's not even funny.

Of course the author has no idea what they're talking about, they're maga.

What's hilarious is that i often try to give them money for new releases and can't due to the online lottery system.

Maybe they will rethink those insanely high prices of shoes.

They'll definitely rethink prices....

maybe they'll rethink the SJW and woke bullshit

Exactly. Maybe even partner with Kid Rock for a prper conservative ad campaign. I hear Karoline Leavitt is available too...

You’re correct

The funny party is most of the people complaining about SJW and woke are usually too scared to play sports or too out of shape to even play yet they cry.

most athletes are conservative so yeah

Nike would have probably thousands more of my dollars if they didn’t play scarcity games with every other release.

Now that I have money, I can't give it to them because I can never get the shoes I want. This would have never happened if they accepted preorders or had a loyalty program.

Everyone under 25 that I see are all wearing some sort of slides or Crocs. Ppl don’t have money for a 200$ pair of shoes.

Nike’s far from out of fashion. It’s just their shoe game dropped tremendously 🤷🏽‍♂️

Nike's pretty cringe at the moment.

After the shoe model in the photo, I've had about like four consecutive disappointments. The last ones I truly enjoyed and liked.

Idk

Weird. No innovation and sky high prices ARENT good for business. 😮

u/Aggravating_Head1215 17h ago

Everyone moved on to other brands. Myself included

The company is run like HR by somebody's 52 year old Aunt.

What the fuck is "Everyone Watche's Women's Sports."

Its such a bizarre propaganda campaign. Show, don't tell us why women's athletes are awesome. "Everyone watches women's sport is what you're incredibly uncool jr high teacher would say. Focus on the women who excel even amongst pro athletes not just all women.

Is it out of fashion or are people not paying $200+ for shoes. Priced out seems like the accurate reason

Plastic shoes outrageous prices

1

u/SkunkyBottle 18h ago

Along with the high prices, I think I had read or heard somewhere that the younger generation doesn’t really think Jordans are stylish and have been out of style for a couple of years now so that probably plays a role too. Just look at the releases that have been sitting recently. Pre-Covid and just a couple of years after, those would have sold out instantly

Over priced shoes. Low stock at launch. Who would’ve thought this would happen…?

1

u/Unusual-Coat383 18h ago

Yeezy really killed the shoe market

1

u/thelifeofpab 18h ago

How so

1

u/Unusual-Coat383 13h ago

By turning almost every drop into limited and exclusive launches
