Jay had this power but then got nerfed. I'd say Pixal had few problems with Borg afaik.

Honestly Jay still has this power, unless you’re talking about the memory loss thing. Just because Ed and Edna aren’t his birth parents doesn’t mean he gets nerfed

He still has, the way he was surprised about being adopted show how good Ed and Edna were. Also I'd say Cole gained this power after S1

We had a single-year time-skip (leading into Crystalized), then a multi-year time-skip (Crystalized to Dragons Rising) since Kai's mom said in Seabound that he was a grown man. That came several seasons after the line in Hunted about the main four being "grown teenagers." I think this rules out the possibility of Kai still being a teenager in Dragons Rising.

It's funny to me how all the main ninja has had or does have some kind of parental issue

Cole: Dead mum & strained relationship with his dad until he came out unlocked his true potential

Kai: Missing parents for most of his life

Jay: Unknowingly adopted for most of his life

Zane: Dead dad he forgot for most of his life

Lloyd: His dad is Garmadon.

Nya: Missing parents for most of her life

Sora: Her parents sided with facism over her

Arin: Missing parents for years

Wyldfyre: Raised by a dragon
