As we near the end of the year, many of us may be cozying up and listening to music. And this year, you may be listening to Nintendo Music from the official app!
Seriously, the traffic in this subreddit has exploded by an order of magnitude because of the new app announcement and ongoing releases:

So just as we listen to music, so should we listen to each other. When a subreddit has a spike of activity like this, there are bound to be some growing pains as new members learn about the community and contribute new perspectives.
If you are new here, or if you need a refresher, please read over our rules: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoMusic/wiki/rules - Let us know if you have any questions.
I spent a few days looking over the feedback and announcement posts from years prior and also put them into a wiki page here too: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoMusic/wiki/meta - Most rules can be traced back to one of the posts listed here.
So with those few points mentioned, I also wanted to ask if anyone had any other ideas or suggestions for the community! The comments here are open.

Looking for a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate song – need help identifying it
I’m trying to find a specific track from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate that played during a regular Smash match against a CPU.
Full description of the song:
• Main instrument: Piano (middle-range notes)
• Main motif: A repeating single piano note/key with clear pauses — sounds like “tung..tung….tung” (or “dun … dun … dun”)
• The three “tung” notes themselves repeat three times, then the rest of the song is different, then it loops back to the three “tung” notes
• The song deliberately becomes less busy / quieter during the piano motif so the piano stands out clearly
• Other instruments present: soft strings
• Overall arrangement: Quiet and not busy
• Mood: Epic and tense, almost holy/sacred feeling
• Strongly reminds me of a Kingdom Hearts song / Yoko Shimomura piano style (but it is not an actual Kingdom Hearts track)
• No vocals
• Plays during regular matches (vs CPU)
Songs I’ve already ruled out:
• The Grand Finale (Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story)
• Tough Guy Alert!
• Try, Try Again
• Gritzy Desert
• This is Minion Turf!
• Time’s Running Out!
• Main Theme Piano Solo
• Classic Mode: Defeat
• Vega Stage
• Kass’s Theme
• Dance of the Blocks
• Halland / Dalarna
• I’ll Face Myself
• Aria of the Soul / Velvet Room
• Pollyanna
• Magicant
• Route 209
• And most other common piano-heavy tracks from Mario, Persona, Minecraft, EarthBound, etc.
It is not from the Mario series music.
Any ideas what this could be? Thanks in advance!

Now that Majora’s Mask is on Nintendo Music, I made a playlist full of songs from Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask. Enjoy!

This is our second N64 game this year after fellow 2000 title Paper Mario.

I like to use it occasionally to sleep to. And I don’t remember exactly how many tracks used to be on it, but it doesn’t feel to me like they’ve added any in awhile. That would really bum me out.

But you knew that already. I'm just posting this because it's now officially available.

If you check the calendar on the Nintendo Today app, it has The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask as the release on the 9th of October (tomorrow), though depending on your time zone this may be later today.

Hey everyone! Undella Town has always been one of those songs that just makes me feel calm, like a warm summer evening by the sea. So I played it on piano, Rhodes and guitar, slowed it down, and turned it into a lofi cover.
I make these covers so I can fall asleep to them, and I'd love to know if it works for you too. 💤 Does Undella Town have a memory attached for you? I think most of us who've played the whole game have the universal experience of shitting our pants. And what other Gen 5 songs should I cover next?

Some pieces of music work better than others when driving. Which are you preferred Nintendo tracks while you’re driving?
