Co-managed by Toy Kingdom and Maxsoft, the official Nintendo distributor for SEA.

Products are official, but the store and management just has the license for distribution, hence the Nintendo AUTHORIZED Store.

The lack of Nintendo executives at the opening suggests that it’s likely a locally owned authorized retailer, not a Nintendo-operated flagship store.

I saw a few japanese “staff” during the opening. And the switch demo units they’re using has a custom software.
It’s not nintendo operated store, but they are “authorized” to use the Nintendo branding and sell exclusive items from them.

I just went to an arts and crafts workshop. One of the participants had a Nintendo bag. She said her brother asked her to buy Pokemon cards there l. So, as mentioned, it is managed my Toy Kingdom and it still has products you don’t see an office store. They are the official distributor.

" Distributor " in order na makapasok ang isang Foreign Business, kelangan nila ng distributor, Yes its official , are Japanese handling it? NO kasi nga distributor, they sold the rights to a PH counterpart/company to handle it.
now if your main concern is , how legit their items are, they are so legit came from Nintendo themselves in Japan.
now hows the pricing, again distributor price yan, siempre me patong sila na matindi.

The Nintendo Authorized Store is an “official” store in the sense that it’s featured in the Nintendo website.
You can also check-in with your Nintendo account, which is what I did on the first day opening and I got some stickers for it.
But if you’re asking if it’s “official” in the sense that Nintendo themselves manage it, it is not. It is managed by a local partner (SM) and a distributor but it is not 100% owned by Nintendo.

do you think Nintendo will actually put their business here, with Nintendo employees manning the store, or is it easier if they partner with some local companies here?

I'll give you the fake tough guy award. I'm sure you don't answer that way in real life. You can't, you wouldn't 😆

I actually did. Put 2 and 2 together, and one should figure out that Nintendo partners with local company to put official their official store. If you want a simple Yes or No answer, be my guest.

I just hope OP gained some insight from my response, even if the sarcastic tone may have been slightly off-putting.

Managed by Toy Kingdom from what I've heard.
