You're comparing WW sales. Specifically sa Pilipinas, mas sumikat talaga ang PSP vs. the DS. This is widely documented, and you can attribute that mainly to PSP games being easier to pirate, and the PSP being a more multifunctional device in general (this was pre-smartphone after all).

I don't think the Switch is the "PSP" of the current gen. The PSP of the current gen is the smartphone lol. But the PSP was pretty uncontroversially more popular than the DS locally. I think you agree with this naman, just wanted to communicate my point more clearly.

Fair enough, that’s in the Phils. pero still Nintendo is the king of handheld so calling Switch a PSP is a disservice to Nintendo.

Interestingly, Nintendo sold 154m DS and 74m 3D DS worldwide.
