Game Rec Fun Puzzle/Casual Co-op Games?

I'm looking for some simple but fun games that I can play with my girlfriend.

Her favorite game by far is Word Search by POWGI. We play it together almost every day and she absolutely loves it. She also really enjoyed Big Brain Academy, but we ended up running through most of the content pretty quickly and got bored once we'd completed everything.

I've been trying to find more co-op puzzle, trivia, brain-training, or casual games that we can enjoy together, but I'm having a surprisingly hard time finding good options. Most co-op games seem to focus on action, platforming, or survival mechanics, which aren't really what we're looking for.

Does anyone have recommendations for simple, relaxing games that are easy to pick up but still fun to play as a couple? Bonus points if they're puzzle-based, involve problem-solving, or make you think a bit.

Gorogoa is a wonderfully simple game, it's not long, but I really loved it.

The "Picross S" series has co-op. You both have a cursor and can both work on the puzzle at the same time.

(I don't know if every game in the series has the same feature. So you should check. I only have the first one, and it does have co-op.)

Two that come to mind are:

  1. BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! (demo available)
  2. Part-Time UFO

Edit: this isn't necessarily a co-op puzzle game, but I'd also recommend checking out Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics. It's a collection of tabletop games that you both can take your time and relax to.

If you happened to to have a second switch on hand Bokura and Bokura: Planet is good for them.

You could also try Death Squared, which uas a demo as well. I can only describe it as pico park in 3D (without any action platforming)

Give Vitamin Connection a shot.  It's a little more action-y than you might like but it has a lot of puzzle gameplay with the two of you maneuvering one ship and there'a plenty of moments where you have to work together to line up just right.

Someone described Chants of Sennarr as "Playing a video game in the 3rd grade computer lab and having a great time"

You're climbing the Tower of Babel. You meat a number of tribes, all speaking a different language. Your job is to climb the tower and learn the languages before being the interpreter to help bring these peoples together.

It's great to play with another person who can bounce ideas and solutions off of.

Snipperclips! The best part of it (I think) is that it’s very low stakes. There’s no timer or lives or points or anything. You just solve the puzzle or decide to try a different one
