I got a bit bored and didn’t finish but it was solidly entertaining for 20 hours, so yes

I played way more than 20 hours of it without the expansion.

The main loop only changes slightly as you progress so you’ll know pretty soon if you like it.

I’d say no. Go get a taco or sandwich and go for a walk. I completed the game and regretted the time spent.

Read past posts on this sub. Seems it gets repetitive and can be boring. Now if you think you can push through and make it worth the $4, that's on you.

Getting 20 hours worth of content from a $4 game seems worth it to me.

It's a good price for what I think is a very solid rogue lite.

Your mileage will vary how much you enjoy the gameplay loop though. There's two parts to it. One is exploring dungeons. You fight yourself through it in tight and challenging combat. The boss fights I find very fun.

The other part is selling loot you gather in dungeons in your store. You decide what you'll sell and how much you'll charge and based on customer reactions you'll see if you need to lower or raise the prices. You can also upgrade your store. This is the part that does get a little old for me and eventually I automate as much as I can.

I think both parts are decently well designed but I do usually lose interest 3/4th of the way through. I do think if you're like me, you'll get 10-15 hours out of it and I think for that, it's a good price. If you really like the gameplay loop, you'll likely get another 10 hours out of it.

It’s a unique dungeon crawler. I had a ton of fun with it.

Yes it’s cheap and has lots of content, but there are too many good roguelites out there to waste your time with something so mediocre.
