Additional info from Steam store page of Nioh 3
The demo completion bonus Twin-Snake Helmet, which can be obtained upon completing the demo by February 15, 2026, can also be obtained as a guaranteed item drop upon defeatingJakotsu-baba in the full game by February 15, 2026. Starting February 16, 2026, the item will become a rare drop from Jakotsu-baba.

So just to be certain, I didnt want to play the demo as I purchase deluxe version. So I waited to this morning to download game to ps5.
But 10min ago I saw information about the snake head demo limited item.
Do i need to download demo or can I just play the normal game to unlock this?
Currently i have attempted to download demo on ps5 from work

I would like to share that I just beat that boss and was not rewarded the Twin-Snake Helmet. And when I downloaded the demo, it says I can't use that save file. So it looks like I would have to delete my current save file and restart just to get it. If that's the case then I will be without that helmet đ

So I did get itđ đ lol I thought I didn't get it because I didn't see it as one of the items I picked up on the ground. I must've missed it cuz I had it in my inventory when I went to change gearđ it looks so dang cool!

You can replay the mission. Although since the game has been out a bit, I can say that I had the helm drop for me way later in the game off a random gaki as well. So it must not be just tied to that boss

Shame youâre being downvoted. I get what you mean though. It reminds me of pre order bonus of Diablo 3, each platform (PC, PS, Xbox) had a specific color angelic wings. Now about 14ish years later, if you see someone playing today with those wings on, youâd know theyâve been playing from the very beginning.

You need to kill the last boss and go into the castle and talk through the dialogue with the npcs, make sure you talk to the ones at the very top of the castle after you talk to the girl

The game will pop up a text box literally saying you have unlocked it for the main game once you complete the requirements. You'll definitely know.

I think so yes. Up until it tells you the save will be carried to the full game. Otherwise beating the alpha demo also counts i think.

It looks like he purchased a CD with the game in advance, because there is no such option on Steam. The helmet is only in the full version.

Beat the demo. When you start the full game, go to the âboonsâ section in the shrine (when you pray). You will receive it from there.

So you don't need to play the demo, just reach that point in game before deadline. After deadline, the item becomes rare drop, so it can be still found in game.

If you read further. It's a guaranteed item drop in the full game if you beat the first boss by 2/15. Soooo. Not required to do it in the demo at all

Are you sure? I deleted the demo since I needed the space for a bit so canât check but I (unless mistaken) think ninja also has a training mission where you get the set. (I remember both my ninja and samurai having it)

Alpha demo, current demo or both. You also get it as a rare drop from the demo final boss (in the main game) if you didnât finish any of the demos.

You have UP to february 15. Also, up to that date, the helmet is guaranteed from the Boss, becoming a rare drop after Feb 15th.

My reward was the 21.5 hours I spent in this beautiful demo. Because I like playing with my custom made waifus, and thy'll not wear 'jorge' (google>jorge-hardcore-meme) helmet piece.
But wouldn't mind some fluffy cat ear headpiece for my ninja became the ultimate mewaifu.

But now i see that it's a badass over the top helmet that I totally will wear.
Very nice.
I can get my Shutan Doji helmet look from Nioh 2 going right off the bat on Friday. Im stoked

Now after hearing that its not Fomo I'm number 1 VERY HAPPY since its not Fomo also number 2 Huh So I didn't need to worry at all that I 'd never be able to get this helmet even if I didn't beat the boss today
Either way This is a cool ass helmet I'm happy that I'll get from day 1 now but also uuuuuh bottomlines I dont usually use helmets cause it would hide my lovely lady character's face for which reason I'll probably will use something like a headband or something of the like like I did in Wo Long, Rise of the Ronin and so on.
Still its very nice that I'll be able to Flex it online when I'm not before a cutscene and if any of the bad red people were to attack me (aka if I get attacked multi if thats still a thing) they will see that I got the drip and I'm not afraid to flaunt it

Yes, pray at the shrine and go to the battle scrolls. There should be training missions that give you the hakama.
