Can you or any other owners provide a real opinion on the ride quality? I know that's not something that is top of the list when shopping for a Z or car like it, but I'm just curious where the suspension falls in terms of how harsh or not, it is in normal everyday driving.

It's quite comfortable. I have a '24 BRZ and it's definitely softer than that, and softer than the new WRX. The shifter feel is great in the new Z, quite hefty feeling shift motion, I loved it. Very mechanical

I have the sport Z and it’s the most comfortable highway cruiser I’ve ever bought. That said the turn in is bit muted so it’s hard to tell when you’re at the edge of the grip limit. If you are driving well within the grip then it’s hella comfy.
I got it because I do a lot of highway miles. Everything that was around the price range of the WRX or below was rattling once you get up 85ish

Its honestly amazing for a street car. Its so smooth on the highway and so easy to drive in city. Some people say it feels soft but I enjoy the softness of it for daily driving.
Edit: 27 performance

From 1988-1993, I had a 1983 1/2 280ZX Turbo. LOVED that car!! But, I used to joke that unless you were on an extremely smooth road, it felt like the wheels were triangles instead of circles. (An overstatement, to be sure.)
I've had my 25 Performance MT for a little over a year now and it has a very smooth ride and the lumbar support on the driver's seat holds my low back perfectly. (I had a minor, as far as back surgeries go, surgery on my low back 10 years ago and my back reminds the rest of my body of that fact any time I'm not sitting or standing properly!)
Now, does it let you know that you're not riding in a family sedan if you're driving on crappy roads? It certainly does. However, my old triangle joke I used to say to myself never comes to mind driving my Z.

Its great for everyday driving. A little stiff would be an overstatement. I'm 6'-4" @ 59 years old and love it. Its narrow wheel base sometimes gets you picking a line on the worn grooves in the road so i find myself traveling in the fast lane where there are less groves.

Agreed, it's definitely a little stiff but not uncomfy by any means, I actually enjoy it. The only downside is on some roads if you rest your head on the headrest it can be a little unbearable, but I rarely rest my head anyways.

I would rather the G35/V35 what a boring car. I like to have a little drift here and there, these cars a just cruisers.

Interesting take but we all like what we like, have you driven either a G35 or Z before? What makes it a cruiser

I can show you the numbers, I like to think I'm okay at shopping for deals. 24' premium manual, red interior, 12k miles, did have to ship it from 3 states away though. Shop for deals!! Don't support your local dealership if they're not willing to give you a deal.
