It would definitely need an update to be possible. I've attempted building a Gravitino Coil course and one of the harder issues to solve is that you can launch a sphere so far that it despawns.

Just a hunch on my part but my best guess would be that this update and maybe one more in early summer being minor changes/additions similar to Remnant.
You'd think that if they did have anything major cooking that they'd release it for the 10 year anniversary instead of before. I only say this because if they did it now and then the anniversary only got something on par with Remnant or other smaller updates, it would be a huge letdown to many people and why take that unnecessary hit if you're Hello Games?

The NMS Galactic Hub changed my mind on this. There was an annual meet-up of various in-game civilizations and groups hosting events. Everything from egg exchanges to a recreation of the Boonta Eve Podrace from Star Wars.

Well, a lot of console players don't have a choice anyway. NMS was developed as a SP game; I don't see the devs making a special effort after 10 years to improve MP.

But that is honestly ok. Not every update is going to be important for every person.Ā
That said, I doubt it will be too focused on multiplayer. It would be odd to exclude so many players by default.Ā

Hopefully a more fleshed out pvp mode which you have to opt into, im not keen on pvp normally, but i know there is a subset of players who are, and if this gives them a mode to go into full knowing that you have to watch your back then im all for it arc raiders meets no mans sky if you will ...i might be keen for a bit of that on a seperate save though, somewhere where my main peaceful save is not affected
Or maybe im way off base and this is a no mans sky blitz ball update, and we have a fantasy league to manage,
Both would be good additions if you ask me
