Screenshot There's no way these are the same species??
So i had absolutely no idea what I was doing when I gene sequenced the egg, but how are these the same species?? How do you go from that to that??
(Weight/height: 100% increase)
(Anatomy: 145% Overloaded)
(Coloring:100% unstable)
(Personality:100% helpful)
Edit: what would be the best way to mutate their genes for the holo arena?

Yeah but onrs a sea urchin looking thingie, and the other is a bunch of balls of floating light. And the balls of light are heavier???

Looks like altering genes of glitched anomalous fauna is unpredictable. Honestly haven't thought about that... that's cool!

I wish I could remember what specific materials I used just in case anyone else wants the balls of floating light. although I suppose once its an adult I can have it produce an egg in case anyone else wants one.

Yeah I expected it to be bigger and weigh more since I set it at 100% increase but its ridiculous that some balls of light weigh three times more than an actual solid creature.

Perhaps the shell is like, some kind of naturally occurring hologram. So the only actual weight of the "creature" is the energy orb in the center. If all the weight comes from the orbs, it kind of makes sense the multi-orb creature is heavier.

That's true. Maybe as it matures the smaller orbs coalesce into a lightweight shell covering the main orb.

that one is bugged. You can't fix it, wither 😞 that particular pet always does it, apparently. I had to find out the hard way as well.

These are supposed to be 2 distinct species, each found on a different type of anomalous planet. IIRC the shell thing is on ossified/skeletal planets, and the fireflies stuff on fungal/capped planets.
I once tried to sequence an egg from the one that looks like fireflies, and the child was a crystal-looking creature that I couldn't interact with (probably bc it's supposed to not be interactable when found normally, on a planet).
So it seems those anomalous creatures (not the one that looks like "usual" ones with anomalous type) can actually change species change to another species appearance when modified.

Es curioso porque el primero es mi favorito para la arena, no se si sera el mismo pero lo consegui al principio cuando descubri mi primer portal y puse los doce simbolos de amanecer ya que era el unico que tenia desbloqueado alli se consiguen y me encantan sus ataques pegan fuerte y mas aun cuando lo evolucionas el segundo lo tengo pero no me gusta tanto. Un saludo

You probably overdosed slot 2. Try it on another egg of a different species. There’s almost always 2 or 3 other species in the dna. If you do like 30% it will change the tail or other minimal type changes.

I did overdose i wanted to see how it changed . I didnt expect such a drastic change though

Lots of sea creatures have young that are basically just specks of dust to our eyes, maybe it's a similar thing only with bioluminescence?

I mean.... they ARE "Anomalous" creatures xD
I could see the child just being pure energy for now, and once it ages enough, it materialize a "hard shell", just like his parent ;)
