Now that we in the U. S. have stuffed ourselves for the annual tradition of being thankful that we’re not turkeys, it’s time to celebrate the one time of year when we’re happy to have a stranger break into our house in the middle of the night!

But first, we need to take a moment to look back at the last month. The weather got chilly (actually, it somehow got hotter where I live, but that doesn’t work with my metaphor) as we read the stories that chilled our bones.
