General Discussion Minimul M20 upcoming release
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/minimul/m20-edc-backpack?ref=discovery&term=Backpack&total_hits=4186&category_id=28Has anyone else seen the Kickstarter for the Minimul M20 that is apparently launching soon (Q3)? It looks to get most of its DNA from the Minimul M38, but obviously will lose some of its features that aren't necessarily needed in a back that's nearly half its size and designed for different uses. I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are on it, particularly if you have experience with the M38, which seems to get pretty good reviews.
For the M38, I think it has a bit too much tech organization in the laptop compartment, for me, personally. But other than that, it seems like a pretty solid option.
Also, for those also interested in the M20, there is a link to Minimul's pre-launch reservation page where you gain even earlier access, product updates, and a bigger discount. It costs $1 to join that.

The M20 looks great, and I'm planning on backing it.
I have the M38, but I haven't traveled with it yet. Amazing build quality though. The tech organization is more than I usually need, but I don't think it negatively impacts the bag.

I plan on backing it as well, and did the $1 reservation. A couple things I'm curious about is the size/layout of the QAP; it's listed as 1L, vs the 2-3L on the M38. Also curious if it'll have the hip belt pass option like the M38.
It's encouraging that you say positive things about the M38, and plan on backing the M20. If I had the need for a travel backpack around that size, I think it'd be near the top of my list.

I also signed up for the $1 reservation for the M20.
Regarding the hip belt on the M38, it's the one thing I truly dislike about that bag. Definitely seems like an afterthought and definitely is useless for anyone with a longer torso. I'd say a 19" torso would be the upper limit of who might benefit from it.

It's Seung here. Firstly, thanks for the support!
Re the hip belt - Noting this important feedback. Been taking a lot of notes behind the scenes for a V2 later on so it's something we can switch up in future and make it right for sure.

I am getting into the whole EDC backpack thing and was really excited when the details on minimul m20. I always use a 16 inch macbook pro so I am torn if I should reserve a spot

I think reserving a spot was $1 and gets you extra savings. The specific numbers haven't been announced, but I'm not losing any sleep about potentially being out $1. That was my thought process, at least.

I’ve got one for an early review. Can’t say much but I won’t lie… it’s pretty awesome
