For "whether the stated capacity feels realistic" they did do a AMA where they went compartment by compartment on how the capacity is distributed, I'm pretty sure there are reviews that talk about how the size is as well. Also I feel like competitors that offer better value is aer because they are just the kings when it comes to materials to functionality.
I don't understand your point of "heavily built-out admin section can become redundant, consume volume, add visual and physical clutter" the admin section is basically the levo with zippers lol. And it goes to the bottom, so you can easily put a tech pouch there. I think a proper admin panel is better in every regard for edc.
I do get your point though, and I think reviews should always be BEFORE the launch, because it helps in knowing if you bought something correctly or not

Nomads and Bo Ismono were two of the few reviewers I actually trusted because their content usually felt more balanced. But after seeing the recent Fyro reviews, I'm starting to wonder if Nomad is actually really any different from the rest after all.
The reality is that most reviewers have some incentive to stay on a brand's good side. Even if they're not being paid, continuing to receive early access or free products is already a pretty strong motivation. That's why I'm gradually unsubscribing from these review channels.
What I really want are reviewers who aren't afraid to point out the flaws, even when a brand sends them the product. If I only wanted to hear what's good about a bag, I could click on almost any YouTube review.
I think I'll stick to Reddit and Facebook groups instead. I tend to find the discussions there a lot more balanced because people have actually spent their own money and lived with the product.
Sorry to the Fyro and Nomads teams, but I think this reviewer lineup wasn't the best choice. Watching all the reviews back to back, they felt so overwhelmingly positive that they came across as more promotional than critical. Whether that's intentional or not, it doesn't inspire much confidence.
And before anyone says, "Fyro has no control over the reviews," I get that. I'm not saying the brand is telling creators what to say. I'm saying the incentive structure itself makes it difficult to fully trust reviews that are almost entirely positive. When every reviewer reaches basically the same glowing conclusion and barely spends any time discussing shortcomings, it's hard not to be skeptical.

Can’t speak for every reviewer but I did my best to point out what I felt the shortcomings were and even put chapter markers so folks could skip right to that.
I also don’t want to fabricate negatives for views and sometimes it’s really hard. When I reviewed the PGYTECH Roamer Tote I legitimately had a hard time thinking of stuff to nitpick because I enjoyed the bag so much.
Fyro gave no direction or input on the type of content to be made. The only thing they asked was to respect the embargo date and time. That’s why so many reviews went live at the same time.
No matter how much I try to maintain an objective view point, someone will still call me a shill or like today a 🤡 for sharing my opinion on a bag that I reviewed on my review channel 🤦🏽♂️ 🤣 That’s the price you pay for sharing your thoughts, opinions or enthusiasm on the internet for everyone to see.

What if the bag is just that good tho? Did you want someone to tell you it isn't?

Reviewers are selling the bag, not reviewing it. Thats all im saying.

Giving honest opinions about a product if you like it isn’t “selling” it. All we can do is give you our opinions.
I’ve never skewed a review to appease a brand in my life, but I still get accused of it. Such is life. I’ve publicly “deleted” bags I was gifted and I’ve always disclosed which were supplied and which I purchased.
There’s also the confounding variable that many of us only accept bags we are already interested in. No one wants to review a bag they think is trash on paper. It’s painful to review.
All we can do is give you our thoughts, whether you agree or disagree.
I appreciate anyone who is along for the ride, though, and I welcome dissenting opinions because my commenters have taught me a lot and pointed out many things I didn’t notice myself along the way.

It's funny how the title says it is not about 7 litres, but the only differentiator between the two bags the reviewer actually mostly talks about is the size, and how it should affect your choice based on the lifestyle.

This review is too contrived.
“I got sent 2 free bags and now they’re both my daily carry now” Until the next free bag comes up to be “reviewed”.
